Our stay was wonderful - we wished we could’ve stayed more than one night! The room was even better than the listing pictures suggested, the staff was so kind and helpful, and we felt very well taken care of. We had a slight issue figuring out how to keep our onsen hot and it was fixed right away. I completely recommend staying here. Every room has its own private bath, and all the rooms are separate buildings. It’s so private and relaxing. We accessed the property with a car and it was incredibly easy. We didn’t opt for the kaiseki dinner, but breakfast was fantastic!

We had a big room with toilet on the second floor. Lots of space. It was quiet and clean. The owner is very friendly and helped us make reservations to various Onsens. We also could use the private in-house Onsen. It’s all very authentic and we loved our stay. The guesthouse is in the middle of Kannawa Onsen so you can do 5 of the 7 hells on foot. The last two you can easily reach by bus. Thank you for everything, Miho!

I recently stayed at this onsen resort in Yufuin and it was hands down the best onsen experience I've ever had! The rooms were incredibly spacious, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a microwave and all cooking essentials. The private outdoor onsen was simply spectacular, offering a serene and private escape. It felt like having our own private villa in the heart of nature. Yufuin itself is a charming town, adding to the overall magic of the stay. What's even more surprising is the affordability of this luxurious retreat. Having stayed in much pricier onsen resorts before, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise in Japan. Highly recommended!
