The staff was very helpful and friendly. The price was very reasonable. Wifi was really great. It is closer to shopping malls.

There was a problem with hot water. Our room was not clean 1st day, even when we returned at night. We had to inform them to clean our room, which they did. No TV in the room.

The room was shared with 8 people, and while I understand that’s part of the setup, it made it hard to truly relax. It was noisy at times, and there was little room to just be with your thoughts.

Loved the staff and their friendliness - easily the nicest and most helpful people. The compound is spacious and consists of different houses with a lot of green in between. Especially the breakfast area is very pretty. You can get a drink and good food at the reception. The breakfast is cereals and you can order eggs and toast and avocados from time to time - not a elaborate breakfast but enough for me, especially considering it is included in the price.

The quality of rooms differed in the compound - at first I was in an old room and was then moved into a new room which was considerably better.

Shared Bathroom, no hot water for bath

if you share a room with 7 other people you cannot expect to get a good night sleep, since people are checking in and out all through the night. Keep that in mind.

There was no hot water on the first day, and the house was very cold. After I asked for it the next day, the staff immediately made adjustments, and everything was perfect after the adjustment. Breakfast was just so-so, but the food on the menu was really great. Everything was delicious ~ Kittens and dogs were cute ~

The garden is beautiful.

They supposedly couldn’t find my booking in their system. So after a long wait (we arrived tired late at night after travelling for long) they gave us a room. It was nothing like you see in the photos on booking. Very small, window broken and the shared bathroom very dirty. After we complained showing them the photos on booking that prompted us to book a room there magically “someone just cancelled” and they could give us a slightly better room. It was still nothing like in the photos but at least a bit more spacious. Bathrooms were again extremely dirty. Beds were not so comfortable. Had to ask multiple times to get extra blankets till they actually gave us some. Took forever to get a portion of fries that were not even properly cooked.

We absolutely loved our time here and wished we had stayed longer. Our 8-year-old enjoyed running around the huge garden and climbing the trees. The staff was fantastic. The dinner, especially the barbecued fish, was one of the best I had on our trip to Zambia—rustic and tasty. We will be back.

The breakfast could use some improvement. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cover the entire compound.

No hot water for shower, bed not comfortable, too much mosquitoes

The atmosphere makes you feel like at home. Beds are comfortable. Lot of green space and a nice garden. The in-house restaurant is reasonably priced with tasty food. The location is only a walking distance from the East Park Mall and Arcades. WiFi and electricity available all time.

The people, how clean it was and the location. It’s near malls and the environment itself is so clean.
