The location isn't the best however you can clearly see it is an up and coming neighborhood with buildings already in place for businesses. You will need a vehicle or to make use of the lovely taxi/neighbour to get you around. We are a family who wak a lot and far but in this instance it would be unrealistic depending on what you are after. You can't tick every box but the main standard is met, that being the accommodation standard being westernised.

Immaculatly clean, easy to access the property, back garden and pool for your leisure. If you have laundry to do you have a washing machine which is especially useful if you have children. Drive at the front of the property for your vehicle if you have one. It is a gated community so you can feel especially safe at night.

A real gem. Amazing to have electricity 24/7. All the amenities are excellent. The mattress was the most comfortable I've slept on in Zambia. Super fast internet. Having a washing machine was also a lifesaver. I didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and inviting. Very friendly and thoughtful staff too. Quiet and secure location (although rather distant from most things, so be aware of that - but if you don't mind taking taxis or driving, then it's not a problem).

Because of the noise of the generator, it's not so nice to sit outside in the garden and use the pool (but this is definitely not a big issue). No shade to park your car in.

Clean, spacious apartment, with a well equipped kitchen (with washing machine!), 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (with solar heated water). Very fast (Starlink) WiFi and back-up generator during the 12+ hour power cuts (with somebody looking after it 24/7), so we could work and make video calls at the apartment. Every morning, the housekeeper came to check if everything was ok and if the apartment needed to be cleaned. Secure parking right next to the apartment, behind a gate (the apartment is also in a gated community (Emerald Hill), with security).

Initially the location, but once I figured out where I was it was okay. It's right opposite Papa Joe's and if you are looking for directions use that as a reference point.

The facilities were as pictured. Very high end finishes and equipment in the flat, very clean, comfortable, spacious and offered great value for money.

This was our second visit at the property. As usual, it's clean and tidy and very comfortable to stay at. It will always be a pleasure being at Chez Gabrielle.
