Best accommodation during our 3 week road trip.. really wished we were able to stay longer Cathy the owner was lovely.. very helpful and her attention to detail shows with an immaculate property. Great location and view from a large balcony was fantastic. Comfortable beds.good WiFi. Secure parking and property. Everything you could possibly need for a great stay is catered for. Great bathrooms and kitchen. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and peaceful stay Thank you Cathy.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in the studio apartment. Cathy went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The accommodation was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything I needed. The location is absolutely perfect and offers peace and tranquility. Our stay at The Wilderness Lake View was exceptional. The owner Cathy met us on arrival to hand over the keys, her service was incredible she checked in regularly to ensure we were happy. The accommodation was clean and the beds comfy and it had everything you needed in it to ensure your stay was comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The accommodation was nice and close to the beach and shops. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to go enjoy the Wilderness

Uncomfortable beds. Not much to do without having to drive somewhere. I would have preferred to be within walking distance to the beach or a restaurant or any attraction for that matter, since there are lots in the area.

The views are really special over the lake and lush gardens all around. The unit was well equipped and quite spacious. Host was friendly and shared tips on how to make the most of the activities in the area.

There was nothing to not like. Just to mention if you take the lower level room like we did, there are stairs to access it, and to tug the suitcases. Other rooms are on the ground floor (guessing).

-Just beyond George on Garden Route is Wilderness. As the name suggests, it is the best place to enjoy the wilderness of this area. The ecosystem of the region is very unique and as bird watchers we immensely enjoyed the town. This accommodation gave us the opportunity to enjoy nature and it's beautiful beings to the fullest. -Overlooking the Island lake, 'Wilderness Lake View Self-Catering holiday home' is the best place to enjoy the serene views of the serpentine river and the lake. It's just off N2 and 3 km away from the main market area. -Cathy is an amazing host, very caring and so full of stories and suggestions. We felt very welcomed even though we got very late by the time we checked in. She was extremely patient with us and conducted an outstanding orientation. A nature lover/observer herself, she knew exactly what would interest us and had supporting guides available. -Apart from being extremely relaxing, the apartment has all kitchen amenities (and tea station) and is very well maintained. We felt at home instantly and would love to go back when possible. - Parking space and Wifi is all good.
