No improvements, it was brilliant.

This place was ideal for me, and my dogs. Private garden fenced to keep them safe. The room was huge and spotless. Lovely small welcome gift, towel decorations and truly a wonderful quiet and safe B&B. Will definitely be back. Dawn was so accommodating, as I was supposed to arrive at 5pm, but traffic delays meant I only arrive in the dark at 8pm, and Dawn was so happy and pleasant about it. Thank you Dawn, you are an amazing person.

Maclear Manor is a beautiful place with a stylish, attractive room. The location is great as a good stop on our way to the Cape.

Exceptional Stay at Maclear Manor! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maclear Manor, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The attention to detail, from the cozy decor to the little extras like complimentary coffee and rusks, really made a difference. The tranquil garden and peaceful surroundings added to the charm of the guesthouse, making it a perfect stopover or getaway spot. I highly recommend Maclear Manor to anyone looking for quality accommodation with top-notch hospitality. We will definitely be back!

The streets around the property are riddled with potholes. So drive slow and careful.

The bed was comfortable. The manager and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding

A couple of things: 1. The extra milk in the refrigerator was sour. 2. We could not connect to the Wi-Fi and were told to keep trying or reboot our phones. This did not work. 3. Only feather pillows were available on the beds, and some people are allergic to feathers. Luckily, we had traveled with our own pillows.

It is a beautiful place. We booked a double room but were upgraded to a deluxe room as we were the only guests. Very nice room and bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable.

We were travelling from the winelands to the berg and this filled a gap in an area with a lack of good quality accommodation. Staff were excellent as was breakfast. Room clean and perfectly acceptable

Shower floor was rather slipper which is a concern for us as pensioners

Overnight stop only. Did not have breakfast. Everything worked. Had no issues with accessing wifi. Car conveniently parked very close by.

Wifi signal wasn't great in the room we stayed in. TV signal didn't work initially but improved.

Has everything you need for an overnight stop. Despite the initial misgivings of the location, security was good. Large comfortable room, microwave & extras in adjoining kitchen if required. Bonus to have a hair dryer, so many other places don't have.
