What's not to like? The view was spectacular, the hosts were super welcoming, the cottage was gorgeous, great wifi, etc etc!! We also had the privilge of room service from the onsute restaurant as we had our dogs with us... Spectacular food!! A must when staying over.

An amazing cottage situated just outside the centre of Prince Albert, with excellent facilities and the bonus of having a restaurant next door run by our hosts. Very quiet surroundings and a beautiful view over the mountains.

My bedroom was in its own cottage with a huge bathroom, huge bed, my own little garden, cooking facilities and a fantastic view. Very quiet. Lovely people. Prince Albert is one of the friendliest places I have ever stayed and a rare find. I stayed an extra night and could have stayed a week: Howard the owner is an excellent chef and opens up his intimate restaurant four nights a week for guests as well locals. Lots of other places nearby and great coffee shops. Mouth-watering quiches in Local Roots. Fantastic hiking. A must for botanists. Checkout the local show house on a Wednesday night - it’s a small town with a lot of ingenuity!

Great location. Beautfiul spacious tastefully decorated chalet with all the amenities. Supercomfy large bed, lovely porch to sit on and enjoy drinks or breakfast while taking in the stunning views. Delicious dinner, served in the restaurant by excellent knowledgeable staff. Relaxing hot tub/pool and braai boma. What more could you ask for. Thank you

A little gem in the Karoo. Extremely comfortable, well equipped, aircon, ceiling fan, large comfortable bed, covered stoep with great view of the Karoo. Small well maintained swimming pool in a boma with braai facilities next to the chalet. Secure onsite parking right next to the chalet. Has a restaurant on site open Tuesday to Friday, we were there on a Monday so we went to one of many restaurants in town which was 2 minute drive from the chalet. Excellent but need to book. Howard was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and willingly gave us advice on the routes to drive. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Had nothing to do with the cottages or the hosts - the mosquitoes were plentiful and oblivious to all manner of control!

The cottages are extremely comfortable, spacious and functional. The view is beautiful and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the restaurant the first night - the food was excellent with attentive service.

The only thing I didn't like is that we stayed only one night!

We loved staying at this beautiful and stylish property in a spectacular setting. The hosts had thought of everything required for a very comfortable stay, including very welcome breakfast items and a cheeky night cap. The views are wonderful and it's such a treat to see so much of the night sky. Highly recommend a stay here!
