There is need to mordenise the bathrooms. Have new shower mixers and showers, otherwise all is well. I also could not do the much anticipated game drive due to the hunting that was happening, but saw a few animals on my driving out.

Breakfast was very nice and well cooked. You are given options to choose and I chose the farm breakfast. The cheese griller sausages were the best I have ever had in my life and the mushroom was very nice.

Amenities is outdated. Lighting & / Bed lamps aren’t sufficient for reading. Not enough storage for luggage. Too many decorative pillows with no place to store it. Might as well remove TV as the DSTV package service has nothing to watch. Thatched roofs full of dust & spider webs. Table tennis racquets must be replaced.

Was quiet & peaceful. Bed was comfortable. The braai was delicious. Staff was friendly & helpful, especially Oupa.

Rooms: The Toilets are not properly maintained they are rusty inside(not a good view) Kettles in the Rooms: They bottoms are dirty, tried cleaning it but nothing changed, so was difficult to even attempt to make tea/coffee. Coffee: Having proper filter coffee with a coffee maker will make a huge difference, the Sachets that are there aren't helping. Game Drive/SAFARI: Main point of being in the Game Lodge is to be able to do a Game Drive and not having any vehicle available was a huge disappointment, My family was there from Monday to Thursday and none of the days the Vehicle was operational. Gravel Road: The 12km gravel road to get to the lodge was a nightmare

Dinner on Both days was excellent, Breakfast was repeated and there was not much options i,e, Muesli was saved with flavoured yoghurt, there was not plain yoghurt on offer, Lunch Options: Excellent

They have games that some of them are not working or broken. The gravel road was bad, especially with my small car

The food was great, but they should also cater for people who don't eat pork in their menu

None of the additional bathrooms at bar and dining hall had toilet paper. I removed rubbish and old balloons from the dam. The outside benches were broken and in fact I landed on the floor when I sat on one and it collapsed. Outside sitting space needs attention and more of it. The lodge needs some tlc. Couldn’t open the curtains as the windows looked into the other units so the room remained dark. No privacy between units. Game vehicle needs lights.

A little piece of heaven. Jason and his team were fantastic. Delicious meals were served and we were spoilt over the Easter weekend. The water and lily’s were beautiful and to sit and stare at, from the deck in the early morning and late afternoon, was food for the soul. Bush walks, game drives, inside games like pool, ping pong and table hockey kept us busy enough to do something but also gave us time to relax and breathe! The Silence of the bush was magical. The massage, sublime. An Added treat was the Nyala that came to greet you.

I think the Spa ladies need some training around customer retention. I arrived at 12:38pm, after they came around our tables during breakfast. They were very relaxed and I said I came for a neck and shoulder massage. There was no interest to start and following their reaction and posture, I asked if I should come at 1pm and then they agreed. So I said I'd come back at 2pm and then I went to sleep. If you aren't busy and someone comes to spend money, why aren't you ready to work? It baffled me and this made me believe they wouldn't do a good job so I didn't bother returning

Their selling point is definitely the food. They should thank their chef cos the food made all the difference and was absolutely delicious and filling

Google maps made us take a back gravel road after 2 weeks of rain, we got stuck in the mud and sand at least 4 times trying to get here. Got here very late, around 12:30 a.m., literally the next morning, we parked and slept in the car at the gate because the emergency number was not being answered. Honestly, the place was not worth the effort. Once inside, it was better.
