We had basement room. Gate at bottom of steps was a bit noisy every time someone entered or left. Twin beds were quite narrow.

Excellent location - easy to walk to Waterfront, city centre etc. Good facilities including possibility of self catering. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean, tidy. Comfortable. Nice neighbourhood. Shops close by.

The hosts, Will and Sam, were great and friendly. The neighborhood was fantastic, vivid, and charming. We enjoyed the roof terrace with fantastic views of Table Mountain.

Guests need to know that the rooms are tiny but completely manageable there are drawers in the base of the bed.

Breakfast was at the local cafe which you walk to in the most gorgeous quaint Neighborhood. The big bonus is they have parking behind a locked gate.

Despite confirming the departure times 4(!) times with 2 different staff members, our transfer to the airport arrived 30min early so we had to leave in a rush. There was also a misunderstanding with the arrival transfer despite confirming details beforehand. This area needs improving. A few more hooks or shelves to put clothes on would also be helpful.

We loved the location and the breakfast at the nearby cafe. We also enjoyed the exceptional views from the roof top. A special thanks to the staff for accepting a mail order delivery before we arrived and placing it in our room. This was very much appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cape Finest GH and could not have wished for a better welcome in South Africa but here. The communication before we arrived was easy and friendly and we were welcomed with open arms and big smiles. I think usually breakfast is served in the property but maybe due to low season, we had our breakfast in the nearby The Charles which was a delight as well. The room we had was specious, modern and with a tasteful interior. The bathroom was big enough for two with a comfortable shower. The beds were like sleeping on clouds - so comfy! The entrance and common sitting room were beautifully decorated such as the roof terrace with beautiful view and even a small pool. Thank you team! Our next visit to Cape Town, we will definitely stay here again!

Just one suggestion, softer/more intimate bedside light would be nice. But I'm being picky

I really liked how the guesthouse felt homely, from the comfy communal area to the nice rooftop, and the room, albeit not super big, was very well designed. The guesthouse is in a beautiful and quiet street, but also walking distance from several good restaurants Last but not least, Sam our host was super friendly, authentic and helpful. Would go again without any hesitation

Confortable and clean room. Confortable bed, neither too soft nor too hard. We were staying in room 1, on the 1st floor, facing Loader street, which is very quiet. Excellent location in a good neighborhood. No problem to walk down by day to the Waterfront (approx 20 min). Only ZAR 58 to take a cab back at night. Lovely rooftop with small plunge pool. Willy was just great, giving us tips, addresses, recommendations, etc. Awesome staff. Breakfast is available at their restaurant down the street and is very good (à la carte with a limit of ZAR 210 per person). Secured parking available at the back of the property for free. Had a wonderful stay. Would recommend and come back.

Just have to be careful walking out in the district. It is safe, but the footpaths are very narrow and mostly cobbled or paved - and they can be very slippery when it rains. Some of the streets nearby are quite steep too. None of this was a problem for us - we just had to be very careful when out walking in the rain.

Location was secure and district felt safe. The Village shopping/eating precinct is close by. Included breakfasts were excellent - range of options and quality of food. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. They upgraded our room, gave us vouchers at local restaurant for breakfast, and paid for our Uber to the port. Great location close to Bo Kaap.

No privacy for toilet use . Couldn’t figure out how to use hairdryer , tried all receptacles and adapter

Great location to harbor . Clean with all basic amenities. Bathroom newly remodeled. Room would be small for 2 people. Sam was accommodating . The breakfast was superb !!

I would have been nice to have bottled water in the room.

The location was within walking distance of all amenities, including shops, bars, and restaurants. Despite being centrally located, it was quiet and safe. Security patrolled the area regularly and were friendly. The staff were welcoming, polite, and always helpful. The top deck featured a pool surrounded by deckchairs and couches, offering panoramic views of the harbor and Table Mountain. It was a great place to relax and entertain.
