How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewI stayed at this hotel recently and really enjoyed my experience. It’s located on the eighth or ninth floor of a building—something many visitors seemed not to appreciate, but I absolutely loved it and found it quite unique. The location is excellent; you can reach all the main sights in Peja within just a few minutes. The receptionists and waiters are among the kindest I have encountered in Kosovo. The restaurant, where breakfast is served, offers an epic view over the city of Peja and the surrounding mountains. Breakfast itself was varied and very tasty. The rooms are clean and well-prepared with everything you might need. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Peja.
I stayed in a room with a balcony. I expected it to be a bit larger and to have chairs, but it turned out to be more of a mini-balcony. Not really an issue though.

Verified reviewThe breakfast in the hotel was nice. That's as much as I can say was nice about the hotel.
Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing. We requested an iron, which was provided, but it was repeatedly taken from our room without notice. On top of that, we received numerous calls at inappropriate times 12 missed calls in total, which we can only assume were about the iron. This became quite frustrating. The room was never properly cleaned during our stay, despite housekeeping visiting daily (except the last day which they never entered the room). They would simply make the bed and replace towels they never replaced the coffee cups or even gave us more coffee. The floors were never cleaned, and the shower gel and hand soap were empty upon arrival. Even after we complained and the toiletries were finally refilled, the floors still weren’t cleaned. Parking was another issue. The parking manager advised us to leave our car in the lot all day just to keep a space, as some guests were bringing 3–4 vehicles. There’s no allocated parking per room, which leads to confusion. We parked in a spot only to be told to move because it was “for someone else.” It seems like if you tip the parking manager, he may hold a space for you, but that’s just speculation.
Dear Aaden, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. It’s disappointing for us as well, especially since we’ve recently renovated our rooms and introduced new services to ensure our guests receive the highest level of hospitality. Regarding your concerns: Housekeeping: We acknowledge that during your extended stay of 8 nights, there may have been occasional oversights. However, our team made every effort to respond to your requests promptly, including the daily housekeeping and controlling it from us after your complain. Iron Availability: An iron was provided throughout your stay. While we aim to accommodate all guests, it is not standard policy to assign one iron per room permanently, as we must ensure availability for others—particularly during high-demand periods such as weddings. On the day it was retrieved, this was done with your permission, and we appreciate your understanding. Parking: We offered two parking options: a secure underground facility with 24-hour security and CCTV, and an open-air lot located 100 meters from the hotel. While we strive to make parking as convenient as possible, we cannot reserve a specific spot for individual guests due to high occupancy. Nonetheless, we always guarantee a space for your vehicle. We regret that these arrangements did not meet your preferences, and we take your comments seriously as we continue to improve our services. Our goal is always to provide a comfortable and welcoming experience, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. We truly value your feedback and hope you’ll give us another chance to provide the experience we strive for. Warm regards, Granit Meha General Manager

Verified reviewThe hotel is located right at the entrance to the walking street in the city centre with countless shops all around. It's on the 8th floor with a fantastic view from the terrace of the restaurant, where the breakfast is served. But even from the standard room the view was quite nice to the mountains in the north. The staff at the reception were outstanding like in a five star hotel. The bed was super comfortable, the aircon worked well at all times and doesn't blow right onto the bed, there's a fridge and a wardrobe with sufficient space. They have a guarded underground car park where I could store my bicycle for free. The hotel has a great value for the money and I extended my stay for two more nights. Btw, for the last night I upgraded to a deluxe double room with balcony, where there's the same amazing view like from the terrace. The surcharge was very moderate and absolutely worth it!
The sewage smell in the bathroom of the standard room wasn't very pleasant.
Dear Mark, Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review. We’re delighted that you enjoyed your stay from the unbeatable location and mountain views to the comfort of your room and the quality of our service. It’s wonderful to hear that our team made you feel welcome. We’re especially glad you found great value in your stay and chose to extend it, even upgrading to a deluxe room with a balcony. That view really is something special, and we’re happy it added to your experience. We’re sorry to hear about the sewage smell in the bathroom of your standard room. That’s certainly not the impression we want to leave, and we’ve already asked our maintenance team to investigate and resolve the issue. Thank you again for your kind words and helpful feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon perhaps with another mountain sunrise from the balcony! Warm regards, Granit Meha General Manager

Verified reviewwonderful staff. everyone speaks at least some english, and some staff are completely fluent. everyone is friendly and kind. breakfast is good, with a nice small variety. wifi worked perfectly the entire time. bed linens and towels are good quality. good strong shower. nice view. strong AC. good sturdy desk for working. comfortable bed. location is perfect - 5 minute walk from bus stop, 10 minute walk from train station, right next to the eastern entrance of the old bazaar. lots of bakeries, restaurants, and shops steps away. would definitely stay here again.
three or four times over a week's stay, staff tried to enter the room without knocking or announcing themselves. they just tried opening the door or inserting their key in the lock to open it. once was to check on the AC, not sure why for the other attempts, i assume for cleaning. recommend keeping your door locked unless you want a surprise visit.

Verified reviewThe Hotel is very central. I was surprised and happy that is was very quiet in the room, it was very good for sleeping. The room was big and overall clean and had a lot of space for clothing whst was very nice. Also we had a small balcony, sadly without anything to sit outside. The stuff was very nice and helpful with all our wishes and questions. On the terrace you have a very nice view over Pejë. Breakfast ist small but good and includes all important things.
The main thing that we did not like what that everyone was constantly smoking everywhere, even inside the hotel. So everything was smelling smoke and while you were eating breakfast you had always smoke in your face- what is not healthy and also kind of discusting. Also we could not enjoy the Breakfast or the terrace due to the noise of people, even employees, using mobilephones on speaker in full noise for videocalks or watching stuff . Behavior like this is just anoying and disrespectfull for other people- and also very unprofessional when it comes from the stuff. Also there was no other way to go to the hotel then the elevator- most likley not the fault of the hotel, but for me a minus since i have claustrophobia and was always scared to go with the elevator. Beds and towels could be more soft for us - but we are a little spoiled with that stuff. Sadly there was nothing to sit on the small balcony, a table and 2 chairs would have been nice.
