“Hotel AND SPA”, there is nothing “spa” about this hotel! Beds are VERY firm (not comfortable at all). the view thru the ornate window is a cement wall 5 inches away (the photo on the website is misleading, see my photo). The photo of the hotel entrance is also very misleading, the hotel is hidden 100m down a stinky alleyway filled with motor bikes (see my photo). There’s 3 rooms/floor and all doors are next to the elevator and the stairs, so you heard everyone coming & going.

Quiet room down secluded alleyway, breakfast buffet & made to order food, pillows comfy. The day staff were friendly and helpful. If you’re just there to sleep, it’s okay.

The bath/shower leaked so after my first shower, the floor was soaked. However we told staff this and while they were unable to move us due to the hotel being full, they were able to use their onsite engineer to fix the problem first thing the next morning. So it was dealt with quickly. Otherwise it would have been a faultless stay.

Location is really perfect. On a quiet enough backstreet but so close to all the action and amazing nearby food. The staff are extremely helpful and nice, and speak great English. Great recommendations for food and activities. Very comfortable room.

The hotel had a beautiful design and charming atmosphere. However, the most notable thing about the hotel was the staff who were always there to help with any questions. Especially Miss My Lee, who proactively took care of organising everything for us, so we could just relax and enjoy our holiday.

Water from the shower-bathtub was leaking out onto the bathroom floor somehow. Small matter though as everything else was good.

Bed was comfy. Aircon was good. Staff (i.e. Ms. Mylee) were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They packed our breakfast much earlier as we had an early morning bus to catch to Sapa. Staff also went the extra mile to decorate the room as I informed them I was celebrating my anniversary.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfortable, and a/c was awesome! Location is super convenient! Breakfast just needs a few more options. Fresh omlettes were delicious! pancakes from a packet, not so great.

We need to drag our luggage because its steps away from the main road where the taxis drop us. The alley was narrow and a bit wet. Not so pleasant especially under the hot sun.

The room, the service the location all works well for us. High appreciation to Ms Autumn whom received us at arrival and helped us during check out too. So helpful and goes extra miles to assist us whenever asked.

Minibar options could be offered although again as the hotel is pretty central it wasn’t that bad.

Very central location and great base location for sightseeing and exploring old quarter. Staff are really friendly and helpful, so attentive to guests! Would stay here again.

- the breakfast did not have a great variety and the portions e.g. of the pancakes were really small (there was a small buffet with toast and jam/peanut butter, fried rice and fried noodles; in addition you were abled to order one special meal per breakfast from a menu, e.g. pancakes, eggs, phở) - part of the staff could barely talk and understand English - there were only a few hangers for clothes, more would be better - the elevator only went up to the 7th floor, so you had to walk up the stairs to the 8th floor with your bags and luggage

- great location in town, located directly in the middle of the old town (but this can be difficult if you want to go there by car, the streets are closed on weekends after 7pm until around 11pm) - nice and really clean rooms - great value for money - really quiet rooms - we were able to have our luggage stored in the hotel while we were on a 2-night-tour in Halong Bay
