Trying to call a taxi and the receptionist was no help. Now I have a $100 deducted from my account. I don't know why and have had zero response to my email!

few things in our room were broken like the blinds didn’t go up and the shower door didn’t have a stopper so the room got wet. also did not have a small kitchen like we thought, but had a microwave also without plates or utensils. lot of rust inside the room and outside as well.

had an amazing beach with so many different animals to see on land and in the water. if you’re spending time outside of the resort and not much here this is the perfect place for you.

Far from everything, taxies are expensive.

Located directly on the waterfront. Although rocky, there is direct access to a beach. The restaurant on site has pretty good food and the bartenders are wonderful. The room is big with a kitchenette if you are in to cooking. The bed is comfortable and the AC is cold. Housekeeping left plenty of towels and washcloths. There's a gym, spa and pool on-site for your convenience. For the price I would definitely stay here again.

Improve the road conditions.

Right on the ocean. Well maintained. Friendly staff and very accommodating to our requests. Close to christianstead and grocery stores.

Staff were very nice and accommodating but the restaurant could do with some updating. Food was decent, breakfast was great.

The room was excellent in space. We had an ocean view, swing in the room nice space, bathroom was clean, refrigerator, microwave, etc. the location was far out from everything.

The only thing I can think of was a lack of attention to the grounds. We had weeds growing on our patio and also broken glass, for which we requested a broom to sweep up. Trash on the walkway remained there for most of our stay.

Our ocean front room was the top draw, for us. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the access to the bar / restaurant on site and visited it a few times.

It’s an older place and I accept it may not be for everyone and a little isolated if you don’t have transport (you don’t need it once there). The alternate restaurant is about a mile’s walk - so not problematic, however there is no safe footpath or walking space for about 100 yards of it - so be careful - don’t let this stop you going it’s worth the walk.

We were looking for a staycation and this place met our needs. Some people for company (we were there in the off season) if you wanted them but no crowds, play with the water (snorkelling gear, kayaks, beach bumming, hammocks, loungers), bar and restaurant so we didn’t have to leave, generous sized room (40sqm) on the waterfront and you never tire of the view. Some of the staff were brilliant. We were met by some locals in the bar on the first night during happy hour and this time was the highlight of our stay. I’m not a cocktail person - but try their cocktails, you won’t know there’s alcohol in them (dangerous) and sooooo good. We had a gentle walk one night down the road about a mile to a bar/restaurant called “cheeseburger”. This place provided one of the two best meals we had while in Virgin Islands/Puerto Rico.

The property was a bit run down. The bathroom wasn't clean when we got there. Food was left in the fridge and cupboards. Breakfast was not great. In fact, the restaurant on the property left much to be desired.

The rooms were large and nice, with comfortable beds. The verandas were awesome, which an amazing view of the ocean with every room.

We did not rent a car, but it forced us to take a beat and not rush around from one activity to another. The TV's are on the small side, but that is not important on STX. If you are looking to walk out and go for a swim, this is not your place, the reef surrounds the property.

Loved being on the water, hearing the waves, and thoroughly enjoyed the balcony. The rooms are spacious, including a table and two chairs. The Deep End restaurant offered daily specials, Disco Bingo on Thursday night and Fire Dancers on Friday night. The staff at the Deep End were all friendly. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, this is a go to place. Plus, the Spa is on site. They had cabanas on the beach, if you wanted shade. The pool was nice.

Rocks prevented a safe access into the water. At this time, this is not a snorkeling nor a swimming beach.

Location is a little far from conveniences

Staff was friendly and helpful. Bartenders were amazing. And the cooking staff was great.

On a Saturday night for dinner, the cooking staff was shorthanded. We waited 90 minutes for our food. We had no plans for after dinner and watching the ocean was a great way to pass the time, so we didn't mind that much. When it did come out, the food was excellent.

We experienced no negatives at this hotel. Great hotel to enjoy your Island stay.

Large ocean front rooms with lounging deck for great views and relaxing surf sounds from the reef out front. Great restaurant with a variety of nightly local entertainment that is fun and enjoyed by many, so make reservations to ensure seating. Entertainment does not interfere with your nightly rest as it ends at appropriate times. Great hotel manager, restaurant, and entertainment managers.
