There really wasn’t anything I was unhappy with

Friendly staff, very nice beach, calm waters and sand not rocky. Beds were comfortable rooms were spacious and the property was very clean everywhere

My review for Sand Castle is off the charts. I can't say enough good things about the place and, especially, the people. The staff go above and beyond in their care and kindness. Everyone greets you with a true "Good morning" (or whichever time of day it may be). They are knowledgable and kind and always have time to engage in conversation. The facility, itself, is fantastic. Perfect location on the beach, facing west to see the always beautiful sunsets. Plenty of space around the pools and on the beach. Isolated enough to be quiet but you don't feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant has wonderful food and the best drinks mixed by the best bartenders. If you can't choose, they will make you one of their specialties and it will be wonderful. The room was very large with plenty of space. I got one with a kitchen and that sure came in handy. I have been recommending Sand Castle on the Beach to my friends and I plan to return in the future.

The cable TV would automatically go on for about 10 seconds, then pause for 10 seconds, which made watching news channels impossible. Beyond that I had no complaints

When the staff member rushed me to get done on the beach so he could clean it up and go home.

The location was great. I enjoyed Snorkeling everyday on the beach ⛱️ as well as eating oceanside and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The fact that transportation was very limited or impossible after 6-7pm. Coupled with no food choices, it was slightly stressful.

The breakfast was delicious every time. It was unfortunate that the kitchen was forced to close at 3pm for the remainder of my stay due to staff illnesses.

Owners take great pride in their property and with their great staff are actively engaged in providing great service to visitors. The beach at Sandcastles is extra special. People staying at the are friendly because the hotel takes great care to ensure everyone has a wonderful time. The servers at the attached restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good!

We booked a last minute trip and didn't realize that most restaurants require reservations so our options outside the resort were very limited.

The relaxed atmosphere. The amenities. Three staff and other guest were very friendly and multiple guests told us they've been coming back for many years. The sunsets were beyond beautiful.

Seating for dinner was usually a problem. The hostesses, when reservations were made (and I made them every time), would usually not seat us at one of the tables we preferred, even if they was empty. When questioned, she would say it was reserved for a different party. So then I thought that I could request a certain table when making reservations. Well, that never worked either. That was quite disappointing. After several attempts to be seated where we wanted to be sat, I gave up and started going to other "amenable" places for dinner. I'm not willing to "bribe" the hostess. I think that may have been what was required. Our only Black Mark!

As advertised, breakfasit was continental. Oranges, Apples, hard-boiled eggs, bread, coffee & tea. This was provided in the lobby which you took back to your suite. But weekend brunches were served in the dining area and was wonderful. The Benedict Specials were the best Benedicts I've ever had at a restaurant... they riveled my own, and that's saying something! all the food was very good. The beach service was excellent! I love the smallness of this lovely boutique hotel!

Only staying 2 weeks...

We had an amazing time,2023 was not good for us and they were just what we needed to start off 2024. We got to reset our priorities in the best environment.Not only was the staff outstanding,but the food was amazing. We will recommend to everyone.We made great friends. I had an unfortunate accident the first full day there,but everyone was so kind,asking me daily how I was and even had a pair of crutches for me to borrow. We can not say enough amazing things about EVERYONE!!
