This has been already mentioned in the comments – most people in the hostel seemed to me like working their day/night jobs and having to pay this hostel instead of being able to afford a regular rent. The vibe is the house is a bit depressing – many tired workers with zero privacy living in a totally full rooms on bunk beds queueing on the corridor for a shower… (I just hope these living conditions are not the future for all bigger cities!)

The location is great, stuff was very welcoming on my arrival.

Despite all the staff is really welcoming and helpfull , I've experienced an annoying episode. One day there was a late / early check in ( 4 / 5 am ) and the guy from the staff came in the room talking loud and turning on all the lights . It wasn't professional and unrespectful with the rest of guests who were visibly resting. So, I just recommend to be more sensitive and pay more attention to this aspects.

What I did like the most was the location and the beautiful patio . Also the two main bathrooms almost brand new and the staff try to keep them as much clean as possible during all the day ( sometimes in hostels could be difficult ).

The budget dorm have 3 tier bunk bed, which is what you pay for, but it means the room is tiny and there is no space for all the bags. And the lockers won't fit a small bag, so uncomfortable stay

Ugh, I wrote it into the things I liked.

I stayed in January 2025, I chose the private room; everything was very good, considering that it is a hostel, since the priority is the meeting with other travelers, then some amenities that can be found in a hotel are left aside, such as access to the room in this case is by stairs and is complicated with the suitcase, a bedside table is missing and the bathroom shower can be improved to avoid wetting the entire floor. The rest of the hostel is very comfortable, both the common areas and the location and the breakfast is very tasty. I would come back.

At night, it was quite noisy, especially if you are close to the common areas. Overall, it did not feel very welcoming.

The room is stylish and clean. The location is also great, very close to the beach and various shops and cafés.

The hostel was kinda empty even though it was on the weekend, and most of the people there were more like local workers, so it did not have that "cool hostel" vibe to meet new people and have parties. Also, the hostel is not having any events right now, so don't expect to have barbecues or pub crawls like it is shown in the pictures, it is kinda of disappointing for a solo traveler, as it is part of the experience to meet new people.

Location exceptional, safe, and beautiful neighborhood, and just 4 blocks away from a trendy beach. The staff was very friendly, hanging out with us whenever possible, and the breakfast was ok (the price was good, considering Montevideo's prices).

The location is good for exploring the Pocitos area of Montevideo. The hostel itself has everything you need and the outdoor area at the back is nice, and comes with a complimentary Bunny Rabbit.

Pillows were very thin. 2 showers in the whole hostel, so was sometimes a bit of a wait and pretty wet all over the floor.

Staff were awesome. Really friendly and helpful. Common spaces are nice and a good place to chill out and can meet a lot of people down there. The outside area was nice. lots of cool places to eat close by!

The property has good facilities and was lovely and clean. The kitchen had plenty of appliances and room for multiple guests to use. The communal area was comfy and spacious. The staff were very kind and friendly!

I didn't have the breakfast as it wasn't value for money. Maybe another bathroom would be good as only 3 for the whole place!

Lots of areas to hang out, staff were very friendly especially Gabi who wanted to know about where my family was from. Beds were comfy, location was quiet and very secure.

Do not book the triple-bunk dorm, it stinks and is really small! The other dorms are very nice though. The kitchen needs to be restocked, none of the pots really worked, much of it was a bit disgusting, and it would be nice to have basics like salt and oil there.

Cool vibe, cool staff, good price, nice garden, good location in a very nice neighborhood, few minute walking to the beach. They even have a TV with a playstation. Overall a very nice hostel if you don’t book the cheapest dorm!

There are few bathrooms, sometimes you have to wait in line. The room that I stayed in did not have electrical plugs nearby the beds.

The staff was really nice, especially Hans, it sure made a difference in during my stay. The location is good as well.

First, the toilet didn't flush properly in the private room. It needed to be flushed 3 or 4 times each use. They should get that fixed. Second, the neighbors were noisy. I'm not sure there is anything they can do about that, but music was being played past 1am and as early as 9am on a Tuesday.

Lively hostel vibe. Nice staff and lots of social people hanging out. Bed was comfortable. Good AC. I would stay again in the shared rooms. Private room is cheaper than most, but you get what you pay for.

Triple bunk beds, top bunk very high, difficult to climb "ladder - 2x4 wood planks", difficult to sleep - railing only partially, very unsafe, not a good way to sleep. 9 people in tiny room, 3 triple bunks in room. Paid same price as lower bunk, but had worst top bunk. Would NOT recommend

We booked one of the private double rooms and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, a huge dip in the middle. The walls between the room and the common room were quite thin so could hear everybody in there at all times.

Lovely staff, in a good location near the beach. TV in the lounge area was playing all the World Cup matches. Offers a shuttle service to the airport. Good kitchen facilities. Outdoor area was nice.
