How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We arrived one hour after check and was told our room was not ready. I think we should have been offered something for the inconvenience. We Visited the wrong day. It was a convention going on and not the peace I wanted.

Needs updating very odd design where door to bathroom and door to room kinda blocked each other . Creepy area outside windows appeared to be old balcony that was closed off but windows was preventing us from opening as if it had been sealed still had a sliding handle.
Extremely kind staff. Nice ambiance. Good facilities used gym. Room was nice bed comfortable. Clean and quiet. Location ideal for our outings.

It would be nice to have a microwave available for leftovers
I like that there was lots to do and everything you would need is at your fingertips. The food, the bar and the Starbucks we excellent with exceptional customer service! Also there are so many other shops walking distance even a Ruth Chris Steakhouse

They were monitoring us to only have THEIR expensive food allowed in conference rooms. Since we had lunch conference options, we had to miss some conference so they could control outside food.

My sheets on the bed had a shit stain. I was disgusted and had to put something over top of it, to sleep. Also, I could not use the towels, they had stains on them and were crunchy and dirty. Thank god, I bought my own towel.
I like the location and hospitality. Very peaceful

The dishes and utensils in the breakfast and dinner hall had a strong scent as if they were washed with water only and not soap. It made it very difficult to eat becuse cups and forks had a strong smell.

The was no bathroom door separating the sink /light from the bedroom. The rain shower wasn’t good pressure. The towels smelled a bit moldy. The conditioner provided didn’t wash out well. The tv had no music options - no cable was provided to use the tv with home devices. I requested for extra water bottles in the room- when I was sent an email “if there was anything else the Westin could do to make my stay more comfortable.” The front desk when we checked in was not aware of my email exchange with the hotel prior to saying. What was the point of this email exchange? Starbucks should be offered 1hr after check out not stop one hour before check out. It would be nice to have complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. Also if checking out on a Sunday - the bar should offer Sunday football. Doesn’t make sense to be closed- missed opportunity.
The allergy friendly room! Soft non allergen pillows. The water got hot immediately. The mirror outside the bathroom. The black out curtain were very good! Check out time was 12pm, with no extra charge past 12pm for - “late check out.” We liked the sleep aid essential oil offering. This was a nice touch.
