The bunk bed was extremely unsteady. I had to be extremely careful not to wake my son who was sleeping below me. It would be nice if the bunk bed were at least attached to the wall so that it wouldn’t move.

The location and price are unbeatable. We really liked the place and were very satisfied with the cleanliness of both the bathroom and the room.

Only provide 1 small towel. The bed was uncomfortable and creaked with any movement or even just sitting down on. Pillow was also small. Bathroom 1 of the 3 stalls was unusable. Always a puddle of water on floor in sink area. Great that there is an air conditioner but very loud so not pleasant to have on while you are in the room. As well as since there is only 1 window you don't have the option if it is nice out to have the window open instead of running the air.

Location is the best. Use of gym facilities steam & sauna rooms.

The restrooms were in bad shape, leaking water from a tap, limited amount of warm water.

The YMCA is in the perfect location, close to Central Park and the subway station. We stayed there twice because it is just the best place for a relatively small amount of money, plus the room was more or less clean. You can also drop off your luggage if you arrive before check-in.

well it would be nice to afford to stay somewhere with amenities or fancy but ya know. I stay here not infrequently and it was par for the course which is good for me. i will stay here again! I love the West Side Y.

i stay here frequently, it's bare bones with shared bathroom but it's all i usually need. It's clean, safe and i love the location a few blocks from the Columbus Circle subway and right on Central Park West.

The air conditioner in the room is super loud that it makes the entire room vibrate. It’s impossible to get to sleep. Also you must go to the locker room downstate use the hair dryer. Other than that everything is fine.

Our bedroom smelled not well. The odor went away when we kept opening the window. Bed was not comfortable.

No interaction from staff whatsoever. Bathrooms need maintenance and some aesthetics. The building and hallways are very industrial and plain. DOORS SLAM to the rooms all night and day. I picked up sheets and a pillow from target nearby and it made my stay much more comfortable. Beds are very basic and thin.

Perfect location near everything but a quiet tree lined safe street right by Colombus Circle and the Met Opera. Great value, AC worked well. Wifi was good for working/video calls, etc.

The aircon is very loud. Quite a lot of the bathrooms were damaged. No free breakfast, coffee etc. The main place to fill up your water is on the ground floor.

They have not smoking place. Bed is uncomfortable.

Staff were very helpfull and kindfull. It is really near the Central Park (1 minute walk). Subway 5 minute walk. Drinkautomat, snack automat in building.

The bed was creaky, and housekeeping opened our door at about 9.50 am when checkout was at 11.

Bed mattress lopsided. Caving on one side... Floor has large black dirty blotches ..Unsightly. Bathroom puddles of water. Had to wade thru to use sinks ... The pillow cover is scratchy ..so uncomfortable

With this stay, I had to change rooms due to the air condition making loud noise. The front desk person was very helpful. Room change was so accommodating.

I love the location. I’m always in use of the West Side YMCA.
