The location was very quiet. it was nice to be able to leave window open over night rather than rely on AC. No traffic noise, but nature sounds.

Absolutely nothing

Quiet, spacious, clean, affordable. Would definitely return and upgrade for a few nights. Our neighbors were there for a few nights and had a kitchen. They could cook their own meals and sit on the deck with amazing views. Definitely worth a stay. PS... go beyond the property on 101 and backtrack to get there. The road from Trinidad is horrendous.

The spa in cottage #4 was advertised as private and en-suite but you actually do need to go outside and cross the porch in the open in order to go into it. It also has a 3 ft tall clear glass window in the door facing out to the porch, so other guests and staff can see whether you're wearing a swimsuit or not which is not my definition of private. The staff was very accommodating and added a lock to the spa door and hung a shower curtain across the porch entrance, but we kind of just had to trust that another guest wasn't going to accidentally wander onto the porch and see us naked through the door's window. This is not unlikely since all the cabins pretty much look the same and the folks next to us had two small kids running around. I believe they did their very best given the situation, but that other people booking should know to bring a suit, that it's your own personal hot tub in a semi-public setting. That being said, we used the spa every day there without incident and it was a gorgeous, relaxing space with fragrant full cedar paneling and dimmer lights. If the spa had been more private, this would be 10/10.

The cottages were modern and comfortable. It had a lot of thoughtful touches like extra pillows and towels. The staff brought fresh rhododendrons from the garden. I could hear seals from the beach and it was quiet, serene, and spotless. This was a very good stay, and best value lodging. The spa was clean, hot and relaxing, and the grounds were lush. Despite what I'm about to say, I would book again in a heartbeat, just pack differently.

They only provided plates and silverware for 4, although 4 of us stayed there were 6 of us for dinner after fishing. They may have provided more if needed but we didn't ask

The cabin was amazing. Very clean and provided several things that we didn't expect, like a continental breakfast brought to the room, Keurig pods and they even brought us a crab pot after our day of fishing. They were extremely responsive to any questions or needs. Oh and the beds were SO comfortable!! Would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing property! Feels secluded but close to town. Staff were amazing! The cabin is perfect for a group. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all the necessary appliances, dvds and games to borrow! Perfect stay!

Our stay was too short. We were passing through and found this place through booking.com for an exceptional rate. We loved that it had a living room area and a bedroom. It was directly across from the ocean. It was quiet and relaxing. Even the ability to choose breakfast items was a plus.

Great get away. Very comfortable, loved the two showerheads shower. Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Didn't want to leave.
