Staff were pleasant and helpful on check in

Noisy as local to airport, and over my whole trip traveling around California including Joshua Tree, Yosemite, LA and San Francisco this was my most expensive room per night.

This is a very basic property that would be great for families as the swimming pool is in the middle of all the rooms. The room was clean and tidy with a balcony but you do need to ask for housekeeping. Free parking is available which is a bonus and the restaurant on site was great and can highly recommend the restaurant across the road if it is closed which it was when we arrived. A guest laundry is also on site which was very helpful for us being on a road trip.

Very dated with most items in room bolted down. Wasnt very clean around the laundry area but it was the weekend so maybe no staff

The room was welcoming and clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the cleanliness of the room was amazing. The entryway was spacious. The fridge worked great and kept our drinks super cold. Parking right outside our door was a huge convenience. The staff were very nice and easy to work with. Affordable price for what it was.

The exterior of the establishment was very drab and gave prison vibes. No plants or anything besides a few small ones in the front. Where our room was, it was just concrete. Nothing green to be seen. We got a room with two queens, and they were basically pushed against the wall, just was pretty cramped, and we would have liked some more space.

I liked how spacious and clean the room was.

The bed was comfy, room was clean and there was actually a closet, definitely a plus. Gal who checked me out was very friendly.

Bathroom was dated. Gentleman who checked me in was not friendly.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Especially in front office. I will stay here again

The room was right by pool. The windows were sooo large and the sliding glass door straight to the pool was convenient.

Location was amazing but would not stay there again

Walls are paper thin, we could hear our next door neighbors up until 0100. A couple suspicious guys with backpacks were banging on our door around midnight and thankfully we locked everything up and didn’t leave until daylight. Very strong chemical cleaning smell, a lot of mold in certain areas and rusted metal in the bathroom. Definitely not kept up with and wouldn’t stay here again. Restaurant way overpriced for food. At night it is very sketchy and we felt unsafe.

Great way to stay in Monterey without breaking the bank and kids like the pool... pack ear buds to block out planes etc... £10 in uber to fishermans wharf which Is far cheaper than parking.
