Since we were only staying for one night, we didn't mind the underground room with the lightwell up to ground level. Had we been staying for longer, we would have requested a room with more natural light.
The room was incredibly spacious, with a comfortable bed, and a large seating area with couch and coffee table. Extremely comfortable all around, and only a short walk to downtown Hudson. Check out the adorable and yummy cafe on the corner!

Only á la carte breakfast available, and the nearby café (Kitty's) has limited choice for breakfast. Room a bit pricey, but seems like all hotels in Hudson are pricey.
Cool hotel, friendly staff. Good location on a quiet road, short walk to restaurants. Room was spacious and clean.

The parking lot was big but a little creepy.
The location was a little yucky but once you walk a bit you can get to Warren Street where all the great stuff is. Hudson is a city that is getting quite the facelift.

TV channel 4 did not display — picture was pixelated. Strangely, this was the only problematic channel but sadly it was also the ONLY channel we wanted to watch (Sunday Night Football).
Bar served cappuccino, which was delicious. Bed was extremely comfortable. Sheets high quality. Bathroom was spacious.

$290 for 1 bed for 1 night in the middle of the week is exorbitant. There was no evrnt to speak of on the date of my stay and the town of Hudson itself was pretty desolate for midweek in August. There was no stirring straw or spoon to stir my in room coffee. I had a generic k-cup coffee maker with no way to measure water so coffee spilled everywhere. Other guests had The Wick mugs in their rooms. I had paper cups. It smelled like garbage in my room. I couldn'tget the thermostat below 67 degrees. The staff was nice at the front of the house. The housekeeper was in my room promptly at noon at check out time prior to my formal check out. Nothing major, but again, it's really expensive for what you're getting, which is just a place to lay your head. Overlooks a parking lot/construction site on a dead end road.
I liked the proximity to the main street.

My only concern is the height of the bed. I wasn't able to get into it. I slept in my wheelchair.
As a disabled person the mobility room was perfect and the bathroom spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful getting me and my things to my room.
