How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe pools were great, we loved the movie nights at the pool they provided, the porches were enclosed and we loved the jacuzzi, the full kitchen, and utensils they provided as well.
Upon check in, our room was not ready, even after prior notice of our arrival time. We were assigned a room that, upon arrival, was propped open by the lock and had trash bags and laundry everywhere. We called the office and they gave us another room, but it had an ozone machine currently running upon entering the new location. We had to wait for someone to come remove it and wait 10 min before we could enter. During our stay, we noticed the ac was not blowing cold in our room and it was uncomfortably hot, so we had to keep our room door open to let in cool air from the living room (noticeable water damage in ceilings and by smell), and our ceiling fan in our room was swinging so hard, we were afraid it was going to fall on the high setting. Our bedding and towels had stains, the living room tv had no sound, and the shower leaked water EVERYWHERE (the unit was wheelchair accessible ~not requested~ but the shower was extremely small and the water always spilled out, no matter the angle). We used so many towels to keep the water from exiting the shower, but it was just insane. The guys in the golf carts were barely any help, just on the phone or smoking, and honestly, if our check-in wasn’t so hectic and unorganized by the property managers, and we would’ve received the room we asked for, without waiting for over an hour for changes after arrival, I’m sure we would’ve enjoyed our much-needed getaway from everyday life, work and school.

The pools shown in the photos with the water channels, as well as the mini golf, are not located in the same area as the hotel. Although you do have access to the pool, you have to walk quite a bit to get to it. Mini golf is not included in the price; you have to pay for it and the other attractions located in front of the hotel. In short, when you look at the photos, you imagine the hotel has all these amenities within its area, but that's not the case. Another thing I disliked is that they delay check-in by trying to sell you a vacation or give you an invitation to attend a talk about purchasing a timeshare, or other offers. This should be optional in a designated area. Not everyone should have to go through that process, since not everyone is interested, and too much time is wasted on something that doesn't make sense.

Verified reviewI like that the pool was warm, and the room was decently clean, check in and out was very easy and I like that they got me in to my room early then planned and another positive feature was that the patios were screened in on like the last time we were there a couple years ago I was disappointed that the extra jumping, and zipline, rock wall all cost extra
I did not like the elevator it was in rough repair. some of the stuff in the room would not work right like the TV. the seal on the door was not all the way there. The coffee table was falling apart and the pull out couch was angled back and down

The property looks nothing like what is advertised. We rented two different rooms and both were terrible the one was full of mold and the other was completely falling apart! The pools are across the street not even on the property! Definitely not a place to vacation with your family! The Spanish girl in the front desk was super nice and helpful heard our concerns and tried to help us. The other girl was just super rude I requested to switch rooms was told to call back at a certain time and never got a hold of them!
