Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesI was charged something that I had to request for refund for. Staff was helpful, but the refund in my card did not happen until some days later.
Breakfast was very simple / continental. Hard-boiled eggs only, with congee, and cereals, oats, pastries, bread, coffee, drinks, etc. I like best the location: just across two big malls. The nearest subway station is around 7 to 8 min walk. There's room cleaning everyday.

United StatesI only had one issue when we originally got there. There was 2 small black hairs that were over looked from the cleaning but when I told the front desk they quickly took care of it.
The property had the perfect view of Citifield if you get the Queen Suite. The rooftop bar is really nice with a great view at night. The subway is only a 6 min walk. The walk to Citifield is only 15 mins. Target and CVS and shopping is right across the street. The breakfast is limited to toast, bagels, cereal, fruits, boiled eggs, and a few other things. We stayed for 5 nights and they constantly made our bed, grabbed our trash and refreshed towels. We had a really nice stay. I would fully recommend this property.

NigeriaThe fact that the breakfast did not have more hot options or protein.
The breakfast was okay and basic. I am not a breakfast person, so I only had breakfast two times out of my five-day stay. However, the hotel was okay for the price. There is a big shopping complex just a block from the hotel. There is Target, Burlington, Marshalls, Old Navy, Gap and many exciting stores to shop from. Also, Its 6mins walk to the subway.

United StatesThe bathroom was not good. Shower head didn’t spray properly. Bottom of toilet had a slow leak that kept getting our socks wet when entering. Sink area too small. Toilet paper hanging on sink side always got soaked. We had to move to another area.
Location was perfect. Right by a shopping mall with a Target.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was respectful. I also like that it’s so close to the train station and the mall, and there are so many other businesses around.

ChinaBreakfast not much option, no slipper, no toothbrush, at least give customers option to buy, or maybe the hotel has this option, but obvious notice is needed. I arrived at 1:00am, nowhere to get these at that time.

LatviaSome of the furniture could use some updating - the corners were chipped, although it didn't bother me. Breakfast was very mediocre. The choice was very small and it did not change during nine days. No fresh bread, no cheese or ham to put on toast, one type of cheese and two types of jam only from small packages. One good thing - possibility to bake waffles. If breakfast for you is an important thing when choosing a hotel, then this will disappoint. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel, but only Asian cuisine.
The room was clean and comfortable. There was a coffee machine. The TV has a large selection of channels. Very ood soundproofing, so you couldn't hear the planes flying overhead from the nearby airport. The metro station is close to hotel, service is frequent and it takes 40-45 minutes to get to Time Square.

NigeriaThe water from the shower in the bathroom is not very hot and the coffee maker in my room was not working well. There should be more variety with breakfast, it was way too much carbs(Bread, waffles, hard donuts, croissants) . Also, there were no eggs. My guest had to pay for parking ( 30 dollars) and was there for just about two hours. I also didn't like the fact that the hotel did not inform me before hand of the 200 dollars security deposit which is compulsory, it was at the point of check-in that they asked. What would have happened if I did not have that amount? I was traveling from abroad. Please, notify customers of the deposit from the point of booking, before they arrive the hotel.
My room and the bathroom was very clean, no foul odor. The bed was comfy and I loved my view, also, the free Wifi was good. Location was great for me, very central and close to everything I needed including the subway. Breakfast was great and I love the fact that different kinds of fruits were made available every day and the breakfast room is also very clean and has a television. You can catch up on the news while having breakfast. The lady at the reception (I don't know her name) and the maintenance man were very friendly and helpful, they provided an extension cable for me to use through out my stay because my laptop charger cord could not be plugged into the socket in the room.

United StatesThe hotel manager on duty was unresponsive to a dispute discussed. Booking.com resolved the issue on behalf of the manager who did not follow up or resolve the issue. To have a hot bath or shower the faucet had to be left running for extended periods of time which is a huge waste of resources. I had to ask reception if they offered hot water and a maintenance worker had to come to the room to advise how to get the water to run hot. That an uncomfortable waste of precious resource. Breakfast was unacceptable and below basic. Since the hotel uses Breakfast Included as a selling point, it was highly disappointing. The breakfast room atmosphere was cold and sterile and staff were unfriendly. The TV Device was not HD or LCD and only offered basic TV no Satellite Coverage.
The room was comfortably clean. The bathroom was also excellently clean. The hotel is centrally located. The in-room coffee is good served in porcelain cups and saucers. The in-room refrigerator was convenient. Room Service Staff were thorough and quick. The wooden panels, cloths hangers, and security safe in-room were welcomed.

CanadaOne thing I would address is the breakfast. Limited options for the international menu and even eggs 🍳 were not served until I have placed a request for it 😢
The property was in prime location, just 7 minutes walk to the Flushing Main Street subways 🚊. There is a mall next to the building and good for groceries and shopping. Very close to the airport. The room was small but clean and comfortable.
