Great location! The setup, decoration, and space were perfect, and the house was super well furnished and equipped.

The property, comfortable beds with hotel-quality linens, and a spacious living area with a mid-century modern design, very stylish, clean and comfy in all aspects.

Location and just super cozy and comfortable inside! Loved the decor and all the attention to detail.

We loved everything! Only needed a battery in the fan remote for the kitchen but no big deal.

Well maintained, very comfortable. We felt right at home. The house is well equipped with everything we need, including local food delivery menu.

I felt like I was properly in the desert. But in comfort.

We stayed in this house for 2 nights and 3 days and were absolutely delighted! It's a very cozy and clean place with great attention to detail. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our stay. The jacuzzi was amazing, with hot water-perfect for unwinding in the evening. It's clear that the owner takes good care of the house, as everything is in excellent condition, neat, and comfortable. A great place for a quiet getaway-we will definitely come back again!

Great location. Nice andlcomfortable with great views. Was unable to take advantage of the outside area because of the strong winds and cold weather but nice outdoor area for good weather.

Could have been a little cleaner. There were stains on the cushions, something sticky on the table with the coffee makers, and something on the inside shower curtain.

The property and the home are so beautiful! The decor and desert views felt like I was in a Sundance Catalog! We enjoyed relaxing, exploring, and night sky watching.

It was extremely clean, the views were amazing, and the beds were probably the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Collin was super helpful last minute as I was evacuating from LA fires. He waived the pet fee for us as well which was an extra kindness.

As soon as we stepped through the door, it felt as though we had returned to a place we’d always known a home we’d never left. There was a quiet familiarity in every corner, a warmth that made us feel instantly at ease. Outside, the cactuses stood tall and proud, their silhouettes framed perfectly by the vast windows that surrounded the house. The desert seemed to flow seamlessly into the space, as if the home was built to embrace its surroundings, not separate from them. The magic didn’t stop there. Watching the stars from the hot tub was nothing short of mesmerizing. But my favorite moment was the sunrise, a masterpiece of colors spilling across the horizon, painting the world anew. It was a moment of quiet wonder that will stay with me for a long time. The owners have poured so much love and thought into this home, and it shows. The kitchen, stocked with plenty of spices, invited us to create, and the grill became the heart of two wonderful dinners. There was even coffee waiting for us, a small but thoughtful touch that made mornings feel extra special. Every detail, no matter how small, seemed to say, “Welcome. Stay awhile.” The location was ideal just a short drive from Joshua Tree National Park but honestly, it was hard to leave the peace of the house. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, which only added to the ease of our stay. Liz and Colin, thank you for opening your home to us. It’s more than a place it’s an experience, a memory, a gift. We are so grateful to have been part of it, even for a short while.

The ventilation in both bathrooms could benefit from an upgrade.

The Outpost is absolutely wonderful! The views for breakfast, the cute decor, the jaccuzi with a view, the comfy 3 big beds 🤩 the only thing we regret is not staying longer

There was everything you'd need and more. Beautiful outside and inside. The owners made the atmosphere extremely pleasant.

One bathroom is inconveniently located. One bedroom is actually a multipurpose sun room.
