We stayed in this house for 2 nights and 3 days and were absolutely delighted! It's a very cozy and clean place with great attention to detail. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our stay. The jacuzzi was amazing, with hot water-perfect for unwinding in the evening. It's clear that the owner takes good care of the house, as everything is in excellent condition, neat, and comfortable. A great place for a quiet getaway-we will definitely come back again!

It was extremely clean, the views were amazing, and the beds were probably the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Collin was super helpful last minute as I was evacuating from LA fires. He waived the pet fee for us as well which was an extra kindness.

The ventilation in both bathrooms could benefit from an upgrade.

As soon as we stepped through the door, it felt as though we had returned to a place we’d always known a home we’d never left. There was a quiet familiarity in every corner, a warmth that made us feel instantly at ease. Outside, the cactuses stood tall and proud, their silhouettes framed perfectly by the vast windows that surrounded the house. The desert seemed to flow seamlessly into the space, as if the home was built to embrace its surroundings, not separate from them. The magic didn’t stop there. Watching the stars from the hot tub was nothing short of mesmerizing. But my favorite moment was the sunrise, a masterpiece of colors spilling across the horizon, painting the world anew. It was a moment of quiet wonder that will stay with me for a long time. The owners have poured so much love and thought into this home, and it shows. The kitchen, stocked with plenty of spices, invited us to create, and the grill became the heart of two wonderful dinners. There was even coffee waiting for us, a small but thoughtful touch that made mornings feel extra special. Every detail, no matter how small, seemed to say, “Welcome. Stay awhile.” The location was ideal just a short drive from Joshua Tree National Park but honestly, it was hard to leave the peace of the house. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, which only added to the ease of our stay. Liz and Colin, thank you for opening your home to us. It’s more than a place it’s an experience, a memory, a gift. We are so grateful to have been part of it, even for a short while.

No cons! One tip though - might be nice to add a brief on how to change the hot tub temp. Not sure if we did it right? It was turned up when we arrived and I tried to turn it down but not sure if it actually changed!

Everything was great! Super clean, well-furnished and thought out. Really appreciated finding a place that allowed two dogs! The hosts gave clear check-in instructions, driving directions, and explained policies well. The weekday off-season pricing gives such good bang for your buck

The property is spacious, clean, and located in a quiet area, conveniently close to shops and restaurants in Joshua Tree. It also offers an incredible desert view. It is also fully equipped with utensils and kitchen appliances for longer stays. The hot tub is a plus to consider too.

The location is exceptionnal and we had the impression to be completely "off this world". The environment is very relaxing, the sunsets are beautiful and we had a great time stargazing from the hot tub. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. We were sad to leave and will certainly be back!

The location was perfect - close to the hiking side of JTNP, isolated for night sky viewing, yet still close enough to town for things we needed. Outside area was wonderful, and hosts were super responsive.
