We had privacy, we but also had an opportunity to interact with other guests in the common areas. The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely furnished with antique furniture. The hostess was very personable and friendly. She gave us good suggestions on where we could go out to eat in town. The town of Warner is small but charming. It was snowy when we arrived in early evening but the walkway into the house and driveway was clear. It was a very nice experience staying at the Maples in Warner.

Wish bathroom was not separate from bedroom.

Cheryl made a special effort to make sure I had a breakfast that took into consideration my many allergies. It was delicious, thanks Cheryl!

There were no hot drink making facilities available to guests which would have been appreciated. Rooms were somewhat on the dark side, there appeared to be no central lights. No tv’s in rooms so we congregated in the lounge, which was comfy but very dark and gloomy.

The rooms were comfy and clean Cheryl the innkeeper was lovely and made the effort to talk to us by name and enquire after ourselves. We loved the addition of cats and dogs that roamed about the place. If you don’t like animals, then this is not for you, but we loved it and Cheryl would move the cats if they were too inquisitive. The dogs were mostly kept behind a gate separate from the guests. The breakfast’s were delicious and well baked, we would have possible appreciated a choice though. We were fortunate to arrive when the Fall Foliage Festival was on, and it was a short walk to the town where there were lots of stalls and entertainment, however without this the town was somewhat quiet.

Short notice and caused big changes in plans at last minute.

Booking was cancelled due to property being sold so had to find alternative accommodation at short notice and had to pay considerably more for 2 nights.

No negatives. We enjoyed it. Owner very personable.

The owner greeted us, very friendly, explained some things to us like time for brkst, asked us if we had questions. Asked about restaurants around area and grocery stores. We had 1st fl bedroom. Bed was extremely comfortable & breakfast was delicious. If we get up that way again we would definitely book a nite.

    I liked everything!!!!

This is a beautiful home with carefully selected antiques creating a warm and comforting feeling. The host is a wonderful person, so funny and knowledgeable. She gave us advice of places we might go as we were just exploring whatever there was around the area. One thing she told us about was The Minuteman National Park. My husband is an avid historian of the American Revolution and the Civil War and this was a unexpected highlight of our trip to NH. Breakfast was Baked French Toast full of blueberries. Our room had it's own bath with mini toiletries included. The bed was so much fun as it was an antique meaning it was a beautiful tall bed and I'm short. I had so much fun getting up in it. Hubby and I laughed at my antics. The feather duvet was so soft and warm. I wanted to stay longer but our trip was leading us elsewhere. I would so like to stay again. I've never stayed in a person's home like this and was honesty nervous. This was the best I experience I would have expected. Our hostess has set the bar high, I expect we have been thoroughly spoiled!

The room we were given was large but did not contain a bathroom. The bathroom was next door to the room and meant to be shared. Since there were no other guests on that floor we did not share but did need to go into the upstairs hall to use it. The bedding was nice but the room could have been generally freshened up with more thorough dusting, new curtains, etc. Furniture wax on all the old furniture in the bathroom and bedroom would have shined it up a bit and helped with freshening up. Places for suitcases would also help such as benches or luggage racks.

Beautiful old house, antiques and garden. Good parking and good location for our needs.
