Milan is awesome!

Loved the setting of the property! We loved being able to sit outside in a nice seating area; being able to watch the docks and related activity of boats across the street; enjoying the outside bar area had a fun atmosphere to sit; and being able to order food and eat outside was delicious! We also enjoyed an indoor area on the property where we could sit and play cards at a table & chairs in the evening. The breakfast that was included was delicious and nice to enjoy relaxing and looking at all of their beautiful gardens!

The room was a little musty but it may be because it was on the water.

Its proximity to the Bay & free breakfast.

Tub was stained, room smelled like mildew, curtains not long enough to keep out street lights.

Location was nice, close to downtown. Staff was friendly

Rooms and facilities we quite outdated and not very clean. Couldn't enjoy the balcony because many spiderwebs and chairs were very dirty.

They let us check in early.

The air conditioner was broke, reported it, no one came to check it. Lamp shade was broke, pool was advertised but pool was not operational. Road was tore up to facility. Spiders everywhere, broken electrical outlet. Kids running up and down hall. Breakfast was terrible.

The lady that checked us in was super fun and friendly.

Told we didn't have a pet room when clearly we stayed in one. The smell and markings were very noticeable and the restaraunt advertised was only outside dining and had terrible service.

Mold all over shower tiles. Bugs on floor. Terrible smell, musty. Stains on sheets, weren't sure all the towels were washed. Wall ac unit blew right on bed, so got sick from the musty ac blowing on my face all night,, but too hot to not have it on. Would sleep in car next time I stead of staying here.

It was a clean environment. There were nice food options, my wife and I did not have to leave the property for food or drinks. The bartenders were very nice and pleasant to spend time with. It was very peaceful and relaxing

There really was not anything I did not like.

It must have been a great facility in it's day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't need anything but they always made sure we were good.

Parts of the property are falling apart. Our room was.clean but bathroom needs serious updating

There was enough variety at breakfast. Laurie? At the tiki bar was very welcoming. Very glad they had a restaurant and (two)inside and outside bars there. Good for the traveler that didn’t want to go back out.

A bit out dated, smelled a bit musty. Would have liked a chair in the room.

The staff were very friendly, the food was good and the service also good. A lot of space outside for dog to walk. Great dog friendly places to stay! Will come again!

Outdoor patio furniture outside of room could stand a little wash down, but that would not prevent us from staying again.

We enjoyed the location of the Lodge immensely- the view of the water and docked boats from a few of the outdoor seating areas was wonderful. And, the happy hour offered in the patio outdoors was fun. The Lodge gives a discount on drinks from 3-6pm. The gardens and lawn spaces are kept up and were picturesque. I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The beds were great and very comfortable.

Being in a ground floor room, we checked the sliding door after spending one night and discovered it had been unlocked the first night. The security bar in the slider was also broken. We reported this to the staff and it was apparently fixed. We also discovered the shower mechanism to be very old, couldn't figure out how to use it and we ended up washing our hair by kneeling with our head under the faucet! With no grab bars, it was difficult to maneuver after kneeling in the tub. We mentioned this to the staff, and they said that there was a shower, but not one that we had ever seen before. It would be a help for future guests to have shower control instructions posted in the bathroom. The room had apparently been updated, but it was still quite dark with no overhead lighting. Dusting should also be done more vigorously. The price on the room was not inexpensive, and with the issues found, we didn't think the value reflected the cost.

The place was QUIET and relaxing! Very nice room. Great, friendly staff at the desk. Willy at the bar, waitress, and the omelet cook at breakfast were awesome!

Place could use some updating. The shower in the suite was small and the water would spray out of the door getting the floor wet. The patio was dirty (chairs were covered in tree buds, spider webs, etc. There was a place on the wall in the living room area of the suite that was missing paint. Maybe from moving a couch or bed. The road to get in NEEDS some paving! The sign from the north entrance by the highway should be removed OR fixed! There should be more parking. When we returned at 930pm there were limited to no parking spots available by door A.

Clean and easy to get to. Has a cool tiki bar and live music, also right on the water if you want to take a tour.

Willie and the housekeeping staff were the saving grace for the hotel. The rest of the staff were either rude or nonexistent.

Literally everything. My family stayed here in 2021 and while it was tired looking then the staff more than made up for it. Now four years later, the hotel was just shabby. It desperately needs a renovation from top to bottom. It was only a place to sleep not an experience.

Location, size, tiki hut, food and drinks, the server outside and quiet stay. Definitely a work in progress. Keep going you have a beautiful area.

Incredibly run down, pool not available, dirty, smells from the dirty or soiled carpeting, mouthiness of and employee named Rocky about the outdoor staff stating, “there are two of them outside just standing around, they could come and help inside!”. They were not standing around and were very busy, attentive to our needs, incredibly friendly and helpful. When I heard this I made sure he knew how I felt about his statement.
