The door from the outside didn't open with the key, the lobby breezeway to the upstairs was like 100+ degrees. Had to ask for towels for our room. The knobs were missing from the side table and dresser. The toilet had to be flushed multiple times for #1 only

The room was worn with some things seeming unclean/unusable. Although the general level of cleanliness was ok the sitting chair was heavily stained making it seem very dirty and we didn't use it once. The bed skirt was very stained, and there were dead bugs in the floor. The room was on a lower level with windows that set level with the ground so I totally understand how these bugs (beetles and rollypolly bugs) got in but still made things feel very unclean. The bed was very uncomfortable. This may just be a personal preference as it didn't seem broken down just uncomfortable. The breakfast was very minimal. I did expect it to be pretty basic which is fine, but it was much more so than I would have thought. Even having a fruit option would have helped a lot. The front desk worker that we dealt with on two separate days was very unfriendly and seemed put out by doing her job. Our encounters included check in, and the next day requesting a do not disturb sign for the door, a roll of tp and an extra pillow (this was all in 1 encounter). These requests were apparently more than she wanted to deal with, and we were not able to get a pillow so we went and bought our own. The man we delt with at check out and the cleaning staff were very friendly. We were traveling with a small dog, which we had made sure to add to our reservation request. Even made a point to ask in the special request if there was an extra fee as the site was not clear about this. We received a confirmation email stating no extra fee. When we arrived we were made to pay an extra fee. It was not a large fee but very annoying since we had been told there was no fee.

Location was very convenient although the highway noise was terrible as the hotel sits right along side the exit ramp. The ac in the room was loud so it drowned out most of the other noise which was actually a good thing. The overall value for the stay was good. Hotel noise in general was minimal.

The staff was SO RUDE from the moment we checked in. It was FILTHY, they either forgot to change my sheets before I showed up or did a terrible job because they smelled like essential oils and had black stains on them, so at 11 pm when I went to go to bed I had to go ask the front desk for a clean set of sheets and again they were rude. There was no ice bucket in the room, but that was okay, because the ice machine was broken. No Kleenex in the room. Gross mustard yellow colored walls in the room. The free breakfast was your choice of a bagel or Raisin Bran or Frosted Flakes, yogurt, and apple or orange juice, not much selection and the place to eat this breakfast was right in front of the front desk, where again, the rude people could stare at you.

The guy at the front desk was on a call on his iPad and it was super loud. As he checked me in, he would speak to me but also the person on the call in a different language. I had to ask him to repeat what he was saying because the other person and background was so loud. We were put on the bottom floor, which is somewhat underground and smelled musty. The room was somewhat clean but next to the trash bin, something red was on the floor. Blood?? Catsup?? The tub had a huge crack in it and was repaired with clear plastic. We did not have cups or ice bucket in the room so I went to the breakfast area and got a cup. The ice machine did not work. I went up to the 2nd floor but no machine. I then went to the front desk to ask where I could get ice. He said their machine was not working and told me I could go across the street to buy ice. Maybe he could put an out of order sign or let people know at check-in??? The breakfast had the usual offerings but we did not stay for breakfast.

The location was close to the interstate and easy to find. Bed and pillows were average.

The pictures of the hotel rooms were not the same as room. The beds were small, felt something was missing, the noise level was louder than most,walls seemed thin. The night clerk was very kind and helpful, the people in the room next to us With somhad there TV very loud and at 3:30 am got them to turn it off.

The refrigerator was left open, so it was as hot as the room and there were bugs on the floor in the bathroom and hair on the shower walls, which tells me it wasn't cleaned properly! However, for 65 bucks a night, it was doable.

Outdated facilities, mediocre breakfast, staff was difficult to understand as they had a very strong accent. Super 8 should help and train them to speak slower and enunciate better.

Sadly, as a chain, Super 8 has continued to slip down in their facilities. Outdated and simply not what they once where as a motel chain. One example was the smoke alarm had no cover and was hanger from the ceiling by two electrical wires. Super 8 needs to step up their standards.

The first day we allowed our room to be clean both my suitcases were gone through, my electronics chargers were removed from my suitcase, plugged in and the charger I was actually using myself unplugged. The only thing missing was a tank top but I do not appreciate my stuff being gone through! Plus she made a mess of all my folded clothing. Both suitcases were open on the bed when i left, and there was no reason to go through or move them at all! Wifi was iffy - worked sometimes but mostly did not work adequately. Supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but hallway smelled like smoke at both ends - either people were smoking in their rooms or the smoking areas are too close to the end doors. The end doors did not lock, so no feeling of security. Beds not super comfortable - the mattresses need an upgrade. Hair dryer in our room did not work.

Location was good - easy to get to and close to everything I needed to be near. Room was clean and adequately set up, especially for the very reasonable price. I like that there was no carpet in the rooms because hotel carpet is gross. Front desk staff was friendly. Check in and out was easy.
