The setting is spectacular. Room great. Pool nice. Gym outstanding.

Out of several things like sugar and other restaurant staples. Charge for parking is ridiculous ( BUT, it was quickly removed when challenged.)

Gorgeous setting. Great cabin I got as an upgrade when I joined Bonvoy.

The restaurant is closed for remodeling. They did not tell me that before booking. There is literally nowhere else to go. They were using a small Bronco space with a very limited menu and no beer or wine. Again, they didn’t tell me that when I checked in. Very disappointing because I was looking forward to a nice dinner after camping. They should have been more upfront about their limitations.

    The location and the rooms

Reception and main restaurant are under renovation. Only Bronco restaurant open in the property. The menu is very limited. They do not serve alcohol in the whole resort. Very disappointing. They also charge extra 20$ for the parking!! You are far from town with no other options.

Fabulous location, at riverside and the red moutains. Brand new cottages. Luxurious materials and well furnished. Very nice swimming pool area. Parking in front of you own cottages.

No options for BBQ at cottage nor in open area / picknick ground. Okay, my wrong assumption?..., then make burgers in the beautiful cottage kitchen... no way! No pots and pans, no cooking plate, no stove, no cutlery! Q.: Sorry, mr. reception, where/ what do guests eat then? A.: Eeehhr, in Moab (30 mins. drive single way) or here at our restaurant! In about 5 seconds the whole great area atmosphere and my experience were killed! So, no cooking options but being forced into their restaurant! That felt like being robbed. Our own creativity came quickly: we packed our groceries (with fresh steaks and burgers) and had a 6 minute drive to the nearest public campground, with choice of 4 BBQ-pits. Talked to the General Manager next day, and I guess he felt a bit ashamed. Busy rebuilding the park; BBQ'ing absolutely good feed back / idea and will be taken into consideration; cutlery can be asked for at reception; no cooking option in cottage was a strategic choice. One more advise for him: better / more up to date communication (at -booking- websites)!

Location, vibes, views, nature and rooms

20$ parking when there’s so much space available makes no sense and it feels over the line, the restaurant and main lobby were also closed for renovations and couldn’t use them.

The facilities completely renewed and the landscape.

Few choice of food for the dinner (and no wine/beer availability)

Dream location Lovely refurbished room Very clean and with a lovely view Playground for the kids

Don’t use the laundry. They charge $6 for a cycle of washing! Restaurant options are poor. I’m sure they will work on it when the works for the new restaurant are completed

The location was phenomenal. The chalet’s beautiful, all exceptional until …..

At midnight all the electricity went off and a loud alarm wouldn’t stop in a utility cupboard, no aircon or access to water as drinking water on separate tap, over 2 hours of the noise and heat, it was mended and we managed to reset something in the cupboard, to stop the dammed noise. No apologies we had hardly any sleep when we checked out, and even billed us for parking outside our chalets as told to, no where anywhere else to park as in the middle of nowhere, they charged us $20! Disgusting!! Sad as was initially planning on returning but not now. Works being carried out properly at fault for no power but had a 10hr drive next day and shattered with minimal sleep and no apologies very poor service

Our 2nd visit here - located in a spectacular setting on a picturesque bend in the Colorado River with soaring cliffs and amazing sunsets. Our king riverside room was spacious and well set-up, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The bed was the most comfortable ever. Fantastic shower. Kitchen area included a lovely glass-front refrigerator (no freezer compartment) sink, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster as well as a lovely sofa and dining table. Our patio was perfect with comfy chairs and sofa for watching the changing colors of the sunset and sunrise, just a few yards away from the river.

Major renovations are going on, and the entire building that houses the dining room and lobby is closed until sometime in November 2025. They've temporarily relocated the dining to another building and are doing a pretty good job managing. The menu is limited, service was friendly but not up to the previous standards, and we couldn't get a glass of wine with dinner - the liquor license apparently didn't travel to the temporary facility. In addition, new management is now asking for a parking fee of $20 a day. It seems unbelievable to tack-on this extra fee for parking your car in a gravel parking spot in front of your room - it's not as if you have a choice of NOT driving to this remote location. Maybe in New York City, but not in the wide open West! They can do a hundred things right (and they do!), but the parking fee is what kinda sticks in your craw, as they say out here.
