Peaceful, great food and people.

Proximity to Yosemite. Loved the balcony. It was great having the restaurant walking distance from the room. Loved being able to park next to the room.

The traffic noise.

The property has about 150 years of history, my little cabin was secluded, nice portch to hang out in the evening. Their resturant on the propery was exceptional, I ate dinner and breakfast there.

The Roku device for the TV was broken, so no TV viewing though I was perfectly ok with that. There was also quite a bit of traffic heading up and down the short-cut old glade road which ran in front of the property.

The cafe next to the cabins was wonderful. We met friends there after a long hike and it was delightful.

The room had a musty odor and probably there was mold under the floor board. There were not enough towels for three adults and we had to wait for the cafe to open to get the extra towel.

Food for dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and so was the service.

Cabin was clean, comfortable and good location. The staff at the cafe was very friendly, courteous and helpful.

Excellent Food. Friendly staff. Cabin was complete with every amenity. Easy car parking beside the cabin. I liked the history of the place, and Old Priest Grade recommended short cut.

I think expensive for what was offered but there is little accommodation near to Yosemite. The cabins are a bit old for my liking.

Our expectations were to make sandwiches beforehand and take them on hikes, but there was no cutlery. Furthermore, there were no plates, bowls or kitchen utensils so we couldn’t have breakfast or dinner at the cabin either. Besides that, great stay!

The enviroment

The room was small

We appreciated the very clean rooms and the location to dining was a huge bonus, just a few steps from our room. We chose to eat both dinner on the day we arrived as well as breakfast the following morning and both meals were very good, as was the service. Although our cabin had loads of rustic charm, the restroom had been updated and the amenities were top of the line. The staff were also very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived early and as the room was in the process of being cleaned, we couldn't check in at that time. Management gave us our check-in packet to use if we arrived back after closing.

It would have been nice if the pool had been open for the season. Although this is not something the staff can fix, traffic noise on the adjacent road was all night long. As it's a long hard pull for cars, some were louder than others.

The staff was great. The owner spent time helping us plan our vacation and we will definitely return.

Super location. The team is great and very kind. There is a cafe/restaurant just next to the cabin. The rooms are very comfy, beds with great mattresses and quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it warmly.

Nothing. It was an excellent location. I highly recommend it and will stay again. I didn't want to leave. I loved sitting on the porch with the mtn view.

The owners and staff at the cabin and the restaurant were all very helpful informative about the area around. They were all so very nice and friendly
