There is one thing that MUST be changed. Then this would easily be a perfect rating. We were in the sailor room. There was a huge floodlight just outside our window. The curtains didn’t cover the window meaning that the room was very bright at night. The floodlight should be removed or blackout drapes need to be put in that room. Everything else was wonderful.

Unusual facility and concept; more like a small lodge or retreat with no physical staff. It has very nice wood flooring and paneling throughout; out of the way, very near a state park, no televions anywhere, a fairly recent build. A huge main room; a fully equipped communal kitchen; and a washer/dryer for guests. About 8 or 10 rooms only. It operates like a cross between an AirBNB (though it is not this) and a very small hotel with no staff to speak of but people are on-call.

The bed was just a bit too soft. I think there was only one other room booked so I wondered why they were put in the room right next to us. They were noisy.

I didn’t mind, but the rest of my party thought it odd and not ideal that their was no TV I however thought it was nice and fitting not to have the distraction of television.

We loved everything about this property! The kitchen was so beautiful we had grocery’s delivered just so I could cook 😊 (which wasn’t in our plans) Our suite was super clean and spacious, beautifully decorated. The common area was warm and inviting the entire place exceeded my expectations!

I missed having a bathtub, but it was ok because we were only there for one quick night, and we got the last room available and it just happened to not have that feature. There were also some decorative lights strung outside in the balcony area that were nice for ambiance while awake, but a bit bright in the room for sleep. To be fair, I didn't investigate if there was a way to turn them off or unplug them... there may have been.

I loved the self check-in to a beautiful, quiet lodge surrounded by nature. Only a few minutes off the main highway for convenience while traveling, yet it felt a long ways away. It was a great price for the room. I loved the screened in balcony, the buddhas, and the view. I would definitely return!

What a lovely find! Felt like we were staying in our rich friend’s hunting lodge. Big room, gorgeous common space, tidy kitchen, pretty views. Would come again-would drive out of my way to stay here!

I had a question about check-in and texted the property via Booking before arriving; no one replied. Our room was right on top of the kitchen; someone started cooking heavily at 9 p.m., and a strong grill-like smell pervaded our room for the entire night.

The place was gorgeous and in a perfect position to visit the area. Our room was luminous and spacious. Common areas include a fully functional kitchen and multiple resting spots. Access to the property is automatized with codes and works smoothly.

We were on the third floor....just beautiful except there are only partial curtains and no blinds for the large window in the bedroom. I understand not wanting to block the view but the light was pouring in at 6:00 AM- no sleeping in. Some type of covering would have been nice to allow guests to sleeping in if they'd like.

The property was very clean! Check in was easy. The large gathering space and dining area had plenty of seating for everyone that was staying.

If you have mobility issues, ask for a room on the ground floor. There is no elevator. Since there are no staff on site, it would have been helpful to leave a list of restaurants in the area,,

The gaming room and the sauna were a very nice surprise. The kitchen is well equiped. Everything was perfect, it's a beautiful environnement.

There were a lot of wasps and bees in the patio areas but also it’s that time of year.

Beautiful location, the lodge was gorgeous! My room was tranquil and probably the nicest place I have ever stayed in. I just felt right at home and peaceful. Great shower! Had everything I needed there.

A continental breakfast and a TV set in the room.

The accommodations were great, including the building and the property. Great location. The rustic nature of the construction, the quiet. The walls are very thin, I could hear snoring from the adjoining room.
