Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesIt’s location, very close to where our son lives:) The hotel is located one street back from Central Square so the busy street noise is not an issue. It has a lovely ambience , nice bar area, Rooms are spacious and everything was very clean. The staff were all very helpful, but honestly we didn’t have any issues that required assistance. We particularly liked the attention to environmental concerns and the water dispenser next to the ice machines was a first for us.

The room was a good size. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Parking was very close by and reasonably priced but you definitely need a car to get around.

United KingdomThe experience with Booking.com, very poor and no way of actually getting to speak to a human being so any explanation of my predicament was difficult. To be clear I booked the wrong date, within 30 mins noticed and tried to correct, there in I got talking to chat bots etc and became very frustrated until I reached out to Daxandra.
I accidentally booked the wrong date. Booking.com was a nightmare to deal with and absolutely useless. However, I reached out to the hotel direct and spoke with Daxandra. Daxandra was brilliant and helped me sort this out, an absolute star. Once I arrived at the hotel the staff were really helpful and assisted me with directions and places to visit etc.

As Bonvoy member, I was automatically upgraded to a room with 2 Double Beds instead of 1 King Bed. Very soft sheets and comfortable beds & pillows. Everything was very clean. Very nice spaces inside and outside to hang out & do some work. Ask check-in reps about free street parking on weekends (which was easy to find on a July weekend) , otherwise it's $55/night for in & our privilege at the garage next door. Additional $25/night service fee which includes a $12 credit to use at the hotel bar/restaurant. Everyone at the desk were very friendly. Great location & walking distance to MIT.
