Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe staff at the reception that checked me in was exceptionally polite and friendly. Very professional. This time there were no issues with the elevators so kudos as I come here twice a year. Very clean . I was happy with my stay. I wish these rooms had microwaves. That is the down part of the rooms, no microwaves. The times we have traveled with all family members we find hotels with a microwave just to warm our food after the long events and in the winter when the weather is harsh

United StatesThe only thing i had a problem with was when i arrived just after midnight I had already paid my bill in full through Booking.com and the night shift staff said i didn’t pay and tried to recharge me on my card luckily i didn’t have enough funds on that card and we went back and forth showing receipts that said we’re not invoices at the bottom in small writing for some reason even though it was paid in full. Eventually they just put me in a room and said come see management in the AM who immediately said i had paid already and had no issues. Also the 75$ PER NIGHT WAS A LITTLE OUTRAGEOUS for incidentals, we could have spent that money in the town instead of the hotel holding all that. I think 50 and a card # on file would have been sufficient or 100 even. But yeah night shift needs a little more training on Booking.com reservations. I was truly embarrassed and the whole first night and morning i was stressed on me and my Wife’s 20th anniversary not knowing if something was screwed up or what. I spent the whole morning from midnight on till 5 on the phone with Booking. But my other 2 nights were great. Housekeeping is very good the rooms were very Tidy. They deserve a raise. Also a convention with Anime people was starting on our last day and they were some wild looking chicks and dudes.🤣
It was big and historic.

United StatesParking situation a little strange. Valets outside that don't valet. Hotel access from parking garage 2nd level but directional signage is poor. While there were no bellmen/women, there were enough luggage trolleys or bell carts. Staffing for the Plough and The Exchange gets the poorest rating. Rooms were not bussed and cleaned in a respectable amount of time. Guests entered to view dirty tables of dishes from multiple courses. Community tables in the Plough should have been split to accommodate more deuces as you'd expect on a holiday like NYE or Valentine's Day. Bartenders in both outlets couldn't/didn't work their entire bar but were forced, perhaps by habit or just plain lack of peripheral awareness of waiting customers seated at the bar, to wait on non-seated customers waiting in a line on the near (to the front entrance)side. This was the case for both Plough and Exchange. And wtf is with not being able to access the Exchange elevators from inside the hotel?? We had to run down the street white it was raining cats and dogs. No or not enough greeters at the Exchange podium. Guests of the elevators left standing and waiting for.....? Once again very dirty and obviously not bussed tables with no guests seated, staying not attended with no formidable floor plan or management. Podium was unattended at more than a few instances. Seated at the bar, we ordered a drink a looked at the food menu. Drinks were ok, served with no cocktail napkins. The pizza was underdone. No crisp brown bubbles in the crust, served with no utensil/napkins setups. This is all in the starkest of contrasts with a written review I left after my first visit to the Exchange only a year ago. This visit was my third. Later at the Plough, a saxophonist began his set standing on a dirty table at the front entrance. He then started to mill about the room while playing, which was a nice touch actually.
Front desk reception excellent; professional hospitable, and informative. We were given an upgrade for a city view from the 17th floor giving us a bird's eye view of the New Years Eve fireworks. Hallways, elevators, rooms, and bathrooms were impeccable.

PanamaThe main purpose was to have a nice dinner upon arrival. The restaurant closed at 930pm ON NEW YEARS EVE?! I could not get room service, or even a potato chip. I understand that it was Tuesday evening, but how can Marriott close the food at 930pm while the bar is active.
The facility was beautiful.
