Location meh. Nothing to see but it was down the street from the mall. Wasn't sure where the beach was but didn't have time to spend there to find out.

The location is a bit questionable but not enough to keep one away from all the wonderful perks of this hotel.

The first thing I look for when researching a hotel is the cleanliness rating. This hotel lives up to its rating and reviews on cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay.

They have 2 Tesla chargers and no standard level 2 charger but we weren’t expecting so didn’t really bother me.

Very new property (about 6 months old) and nicely maintained. Breakfasts was surprisingly good and had enough choices for everyone to enjoy including two styles of egg and dyi-waffle maker. We had the pool & whirlpool to ourselves when we got there

The hotel is great for comfort and convenience, but the area around the hotel itself is not part of the prettiness that the area has to offer.

The staff were extremely accommodating, and did their best to make our stay as good as possible. The breakfast was delicious; the pool and spa area clean and enjoyable. The gym was clean and well supplied as well. The room was comfortable, and the size was great for our family. Even the pull-out couch was comfortable. There were plenty of options in the area to get food/ gas, and since our reason for staying was to attend a graduation, it was an easy distance from Cal Poly Humboldt. Value for money.

The facility is spacious, the design and space in the room is well thought and practical. Breakfast space is large, well organized, good parking.

It would be nice if the treadmills faced the door. For safety reason I like to see who is coming in.

The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast had a good selection. The room was clean and big. The room had a sink, dishes, dishwasher, full-sized refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, large TV, small sofa.

I guess California has eliminated trash liner bags. This could be challenging down the line. Good idea not to use that plastic. But ugh the mess....

If I could choose a higher number for satisfaction I would. I was fortunate to be a guest on opening day for the new facility, and the staff made me feel like royalty.

DONT STAY HERE! EMERGENCIES BE DAMNED, THEY WOULD PROBABLY CHARGE YOU FOR THAT TOO!!☠️🤬👿 🤬AND THEY DONT TELL YOU, BUT THEY ADD A $100 TO YOUR CREDIT CARD/BILL AS A "DAMAGE HOLD" WHEN YOU CHECK IN!! THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS!!🤬 We made reservations for a family memorial from Thursday-Tuesday. We had an extreme medical emergency and had to check out Monday at 1:30pm. THEY WOULDNT EVEN REFUND US THE LAST DAY OF OUR STAY! SAID BECAUSE WE WENT PAST THE 11AM TIME, THEY HAD TO CHARGE US!!  🤬🤬👿👿👿YET THE MANAGER AT THE FRONT DESK SAID SHE WOULD REFUND US OUR LAST DAY, NO PROBLEM, TO OUR FACE!!🤬 TWOFACED!!🤬👿 BOOKING.COM SAID YES, AND SAID IT WAS UP TO THEM!! THE GIRL AT THE DESK EVEN SAID IT WAS THE MANAGER! We asked for the manager to come back out and speak to us again, and she refused! She left the poor girl at the front desk to clean up her mess! NEVER TRUST THIS PLACE!! OR THEIR WORD! DONT STAY HERE!! THE MANAGERS TREAT YOU LIKE 💩🤬🤬🤬

James, the night staff, was stellar! He was the ONLY BRIGHT STAR 🌟 in an otherwise crap stay!
