Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe condition of the hotel was not very impressive for the cost. Window was all messed up in the room looked like it was frosted over but damaged somehow, but since it’s summer how is the window fogged up? From the air conditioning? The bathroom door stuck so bad the noise was unbearable. Such an easy fix but neglected. Room felt damp even with the air on. They were painting the ceiling on the first floor and had blue painters tape up and looked like they didn’t cover the carpet. Ice machine was only located on the 2nd and 6th floors even tho there was a sign saying elevator and ice with an arrow, but no ice machine. For the price of this hotel you would expect more. Very disappointed.

United StatesRooms could use a little update. The furniture was worn. The doors were stiff to close. There really needs to be more staff. The wait times to ask simple questions was very long. The quotes price on booking.com was not what I was charged. I am still hoping that gets resolved. This is truly the first property I have ever had that problem.

United StatesI thought checkout was 11am, but apparently it was noon (according to the rest of our party who also stayed there). It was the one night away from kids that we could sleep in. Housekeeping woke us at 9am. Pretty frustrating. But that was our only complaint.
I don’t think breakfast was included. No one said anything, although there seemed to be a buffet this morning when we left.

AustraliaIt is good to know that your room is not cleaned during your stay. It did say that it can be requested, however. I requested this as we were going to need new towels and was greeted rather frostily. When I responded no problem, we could use towels only, the response was how many because the front desk person would likely have to bring them. I just think that if you say a service can be requested, it needs to be honored without giving the customer a hard time. We paid a lot for our stay!
