Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There were nothing to complain about. For the price the home was nice. Some folks may see it as outdated between the decor and amenities. However, our family felt that it was a cute little place to spend our weekend together
The house was a home. The host was very informative and responsive. The beds were very comfortable. The cleaning crew does an amazing job , we travel a lot and see a lot. This property was very clean and tidy. We liked that it was quiet and peaceful. The host provided a lot of items via bathroom and kitchen that most hosts do not which was an unexpected but pleasant surprise.

Neat, clean, quiet, good comunication, fast reply from host, close convenient store, close to everywhere we visited, warm/hot/cold water, and clean washroom/blanket and bed etc. All 5 of us slept very good. We asked for early check-in, host replied they will do the best to get ready. And we received message that room is ready 2hrs earlier than actual check-in time.

Communication with owners was by Booking.Com App only. Not really very Smartphone Efficient. Furniture and decor was 1970s ish. Could be a positive or a negative.
Very spacious very clean. very quiet. good neighbourhood and yes, close to Niagara.

It was exactly what we were looking for.
There were many small things that we liked about the house. The decor is simple and maybe old-fashioned, but that was a big part of the charm. More importantly, it was VERY CLEAN and very cozy. The beds were also extremely comfortable.

A dishwasher and washing machine/dryer would have been a great addition. I'm not sure if it was already there and! I missed it.
The house is spacious and cozy. Very clean. Very close to the airport. The interiors are traditional which is what we loved about the house. The kitchen was fully equipped as was the bathroom with toiletries. The host was very kind and responsive. The house is in a decent neighbourhood with a big front lawn. My family had a great time!

Very warm and cozy. We got snowed in due to an unforseen lake effect storm. We didn't mind being stuck inside with the fact the house was very cozy and well heated!

Nothing bad per se but there are a couple things that could be improved. There were no bowls at all and the house was very dry and could’ve used a humidifier.

No dishwasher, although we didn’t stay long enough to worry about that. 1 bathroom, with 4 of us it wasn’t bad, just had to plan. All on one floor, TV was easy to use with our streaming subscriptions. It was hot when we were there but enough AC to make it comfortable.
It’s a really convenient location, close to the airport, and the Galleria, 1/2 hr to Highmark Stadium, N Falls, Canadian border.

The property is obviously dated. It could definitely use some updates, but if you aren't someone who has to stay in a perfect, modern home, it's fun. And like I said, it's clean and more spacious and affordable than most of the hotels in the area.
Very clean and comfortable house. A spacious, fully stocked bathroom. Cozy living room area with streaming services and wifi. There was a minor issue with the heating and the property owner/manager (?) was there within 10 minutes and took care of it. Definitely better for a family over a hotel.
