Parking was tight in the central area around the gazebo.

It was a fantastic experience...great location, great facility! We had several friends and family in other cabins, and it was a great location for everyone to gather and enjoy.

I would like to have a fire pit for each cabin or at least for a number of Cabins

Nice and cosy Cabins, with everything you need. The Location was awsome in the middle of large redwoods.

Shower was not the best, my boyfriend is pretty tall and could not stand up straight in the shower. We were not able to adjust the shower head to a different height. Bed was also little bit to small for us.

Really cute campsite with nice cabins. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Location is good, close to Redwood National and State park. It’s also close to some nice restaurants and a supermarket. We liked the fireplace in the cabin.

We got cabin Q, next to the bathhouse, and we weren't thrilled. That said, we heard no one at all. It was very quiet. As someone who once concerned herself with museum signage, I found the repetitive signs for the singular trash depositry visually assaulting. If I were there in the summer with many kids about, the gameroom noise would drive me batty, but mid week in early May, it was not a problem. So much of the contents in the cabin were new or newish. Clearly, much care and upkeep goes into the place. I would have liked a larger fridge in lieu of tvs. The blue light, large display alarm clock, needs to go. Blue light is so bad for sleep and wrecks night vision so this could even be hazardous.. I had to put something over it. Ditto the bright white lights at the bottom of mounted TVs which I covered with bandaid. Are we in the woods or not? Nitpicking? Its a place Yogi Bear would love and we found it to be mostly great in spite of our old selves.

We loved the setting, of course, even with the cult next door-lol. So California! All the hooks - I counted 10- for hanging up towels, hoodies, and pjs(our next place had none, and so we used chairs). Really necessary for travelers in small spaces. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had all the right stuff really but no stove or hot plate. It was sooooooo quiet.

The cabins are adorable. Thoughtfully equipped and well -stocked. Spotless. The linens lovely. The young woman who checked us in was delightful! And who doesn’t want to sleep in a grove of redwoods.

A wonderful location, very peaceful and nestled amongst the redwoods. The cabin was a nice size, facilities were excellent, heater worked well (it was a bit chilly even in spring), bed comfortable. Plus a great shower. For us it was a lovely place to stay on our road trip.

Very cute cabin with a big bath tub and a kitchenette in the redwoods, friendly staff

I had a five night late March solo "scouting" stay in the very cute and comfortable "Suite" cabin (it is called a "Deluxe Queen Cabin with balcony" on booking.com). Front desk were all friendly and efficient, and there is a small store. The 400 or so square foot room had warm old-fashioned knotty wood panel walls, a *very* comfortable queen bed, kitchenette with a full-sized fridge, a coffeemaker (filter pack style, you can get refills) and microwave (no dishwasher). There was a big bath tub with a safety mat and grab bars (the tub is what attracted me to this cabin), a two-seater comfortable sofa (not a sofa bed so it was not hard), a two seater kitchen table, a wooden dresser, and a deck with two foldable chairs which I didn't use due to the rain. The best part was the quiet location right in the redwoods just a mile from downtown Trinidad restaurants and the big Murphy's grocery market. I expect that in summer, as there is no AC, it would understandably be more crowded and louder if sitting out on the deck and/or if one kept the windows open. It was in a good location in the park (private enough that I didn't need to pull the drapes). Heating was quiet (electric wall heater with a thermostat), allowing for restful sleep. I am a seasoned traveler so I came with extra supplies, just in case: I brought a small beach chair in case I wanted to sit lounging on the deck if weather were nice. I brought a big bath sheet to complement the basic two standard bath towels/hand towels/wash cloths. I brought an extra down blanket for weight (the one provided is standard i.e., thin) and an extra pillow I didn't need because there were four (foam), toiletries I didn't need as they were provided (wall shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, lotion).
