How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

If you are allergic to dairy you will not be able to eat breakfast Buffett
It was nice to have separate areas for my mom to sleep and we enjoyed that we were able to walk across the parking lot to PF Changs

Not really many cons, but they could’ve had a few more dessert options at the restaurant.
Great amenities and a perfect location. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast is a nice bonus.

Very difficult to get an invoice when reservation booked with a third-party (like Booking.com) - there is pointing finger on who is supposed to issue them (this is so unprofessional). People allowed to take food to their rooms from breakfast area (tacky atmosphere).
good location. spacious room. happy hour complimentary drinks. friendly staff. adequate parking. easy access to hotel. several high-end restaurants nearby. nice area for morning walk.

Rooms need some updates. Its a bit old style but otherwise OK. Indulge restaurant should have more better food options. Parking garage needs to have better lighting especially at night.
Great location. Close enough to go at the beach and very accessible. What we really liked is how close it is at Westfield Mall. It has a lot of stores to check out and its only across the street from the hotel. Breakfast buffet is OK. I feel that they should change up their menu everyday, but still a good food. Cooks are doing their best to get your order correctly as line can get really long. Otherwise, all staff I’ve encountered during our stay are really friendly and helpful.

The rooms need update. A lot of the furniture was ripped or worn down. Didn’t feel very clean in the room. Found a random hair on a towel before we even used the bathroom. The floor in the bathroom was not clean as well. Made us question if the sheets and the rest of the room was clean.
Staff was very nice and breakfast was great! Lots of options and variety. Rooms were a great size.

The room seemed to have the sofa bed with sheets and blankets underneath. That were bunched up and seemed used. And our sofa bed was torn on the side arm rest. Material was showing

Bathtub and shower could be cleaner or updated. Pillows are very bad! First night we were in a room with sofa bed and the mattress was HORRIBLE! We moved and Murphy bed was great.

Check-in on the app and obtaining electronic key was a little glitchy, but the front-desk check-in alternative was a great experience
Excellent help and customer service from front desk, was able to accommodate early check-in. Easy parking, walking distance to UTC. Amenities and the room itself exceeded expectations. Really liked the huge atrium and overall indoor atmosphere

Parking on-site costs a lot. This hotel is also very crowded maybe because of its affordability. It has good breakfast but there were so many people in line, not a quiet place to relax.
It's a nice hotel near a nice area with lots of restaurant choices. Nice area to walk our dogs. The breakfast was good.
