How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The "breakfast included" was weird. You had to choose from a very small menu and multiple things they were out of including cereal on the kids menu...how hard is it to keep cereal stocked

Staff messed up my reservation multiple times, and we didn't get the right room I reserved over a month prior which was confirmed. Very disappointing. But the worst was the one staff member Carolina, who was quite rude and had an attitude. Rather than apologizing and using good customer service to take responsibility for their mistakes, she was aggressive, accusatory and rude towards me. I didn't appreciate that!
Room second night was quiet the first was a different side and was very noisy with road noise.

Bed too soft and uncomfortable. Needs refurb. Decoration and bathroom quite old. Noisy room, mainly due to ice machine by the door, loud fridge and Aircon. Unfriendly front desk staff.

Parking garage very narrow & hard to park. Only 1 working elevator. Rooms in East tower were not well regulating temperature due to a/c won’t turn on when below 50 outside & our room was 78 degrees. Staff first morning was not helpful & it took 4 hours & 3 requests before we got maintenance help for the heat.

The bed was uncomfortable. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room. There are it seems, fee paying drinks dispensers on every floor. There were only paper cups for the coffee maker in the room. There were tea bags, but no kettle. Overall, the hotel aesthetically looked good, however as a guest, you are poorly provided for.
The plus side, staff at the restaurant were super polite and friendly.

Annoying that we had to pay for parking. I paid extra for a room with a tub, and the drain plug didn't work. Also, the music that was on loop in the lobby and bar was really obnoxious and jarring. Really crunchy screechy dubstep, really didn't fit the vibe and made us not want to be there.

The room and bathroom was tight for two people sharing and there were a lot of things that needed to be spruced up - broken tiles, shower head etc.
The pool and fitness centers were clean and had what I needed for a short stay. Beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was expensive for what it was. Full buffet was nice but pricey. Very friendly staff

I found parking very difficult. I had a SUV in December. I found it difficult to park. I got a kia in July and still found it hard to park.
The room and bed were good. I did not have breakfast this trip but at Christmas time the breakfast was good.

The restaurant was horrible. Sat 10 minutes before anybody helped me, 15 more before horrible burnt coffee showed up, 20 more before the worst eggs Benedict showed up (hard boiled eggs! Really?!)

When I was leaving, before I checked out, I was carrying things down to my truck and was gone less than 5 minutes. When I came back my phone and keys were gone. I tried to ask the cleaning lady that was 4 doors down about it and she was not able to answer me because she could not speak English. I did eventually find my things, they were at the front desk. Apparently the cleaning lady thought it was okay to go in to my room when she was not even near ready to clean it and take my things. Everything was returned I just thought that was a horrible experience. There was no need for someone to go in to the room and take things when I had not checked out. Parking is horrible! I drive a truck and trying to maneuver the parking garage was a nightmare.
Bed was super comfortable, room was very nice and clean.
