Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe parking and getting around was a disaster, and the elevators in the hotel AND the garage we used were out of service, plus I know its not affiliated with you, BUT you do recommend them, the Luhrs garage attendant for our concert night just sat on her butt, not helping anyone & I get that its hot but wear your uniform jacket so people are aware of you.
The room was nice, clean, and very close to the event center.

United KingdomExpensive vallet parking. The breakfast option in the downstairs coffee shop is a bit lacking. The hotel is on the edge of downtown so it's not so easy to walk to the nearby bars and restaurants as when staying more into downtown. Being able to walk anywhere in phoenix is a rare luxury, so it's still better than staying in most other parts of the city.
Friendly staff, clean sizeable rooms. All the amenities I expect a room to have. The bar (independent) is pleasant with great staff.

CanadaA few little things, the elevators slow especially at peak times (unsure if all working), as only rode 1 of the 4 for 3 days so the odds of that happening very low. The AC worked but it could of been way colder for my liking. The bar on the 4th floor only opens at 5, there was a couple times wanted a beer in afternoon. Like i said very small items
If you are going to a ball game the location is perfect, easy walking, it felt safe even at nite. The staff very friendly and and checked our bags on the final day so would not have to drag around for hours. The lobby very clean. It was a good hotel and what should be expected at this price point.

United StatesI wasn't a fan of the fact that there were only three elevators for a 20-story hotel that also has a lounge on one of the floors. Maybe my partner and I just happened to come to stay on an exceptionally busy weekend, but trying to navigate the floors anyway beside the stairs was next to impossible. The elevators were PACKED with other guests either trying to get to their rooms or trying to get to the lobby. I happened to get onto one of the said elevators, and I managed to go to EVERY floor from the 15th floor, all the way down until I finally reached the lobby, which was my original destination when I got onto the elevator on floor 6. I know it isn't something readily fixable on the staff/engineers, but for fellow travelers, be warned that there is a real likelihood that you will be climbing many flights of stairs at 9 am. Also, a side note that isn't that big of a deal, but my understanding was that there was a complimentary breakfast, but when I went down at 9:30 to get breakfast to bring back to our room, all there was a mini Starbucks that was not complimentary. I was a bit confused, however, I'm willing to accept that I may have potentially missed said breakfast due to waking up late.
The room was clean and very spacious for just my partner and me. Everything was clean and fresh upon arrival. The location is also within walking distance of the destination that we traveled for, which made the commute to the event incredibly easy. The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming and answered any questions regarding our stay or any issues that arose.

United StatesThe hotel's proximity to the airport was very fortuitous given I flew on the day of the Microsoft computer update failure, delaying many of the flights. Road construction in much of Downtown Phoenix made getting to the parking valet station a bit tricky for a first-timer, but when I called the hotel from my car, the woman who fielded my call was quite good at getting me to the right place. The climate control of the rooms was very quiet and comfortable, fending off the 100 degree plus temperatures in Phoenix. They have a non-affiliated cocktail bar accessible via the fourth floor of the hotel and I found this somewhat funky place to be quite unique and had very good appetizers and specialty cocktails.

United StatesRoad construction did make things somewhat awkward to get around, although I can hardly blame the hotel for that.
I travelled to this hotel from Flagstaff so that I would by the airport for an early morning flight back to New York. The hotel was very well maintained and modern from an updates perspective. As I really needed a good night's sleep, the room's climate controls were comfortable and quiet, as the temperatures outside were between 96 and 113. Check-in, check-out and valet service were consistently professional and quick. The location also provided easy access to a variety of restaurants and Phoenix's two big professional sports venues.

United StatesThe King bed was firm, and it hurt my back. The staff member at check-in did not mention the included breakfast or where it was, only told us about the bistro on the 1st floor, and we ended up discovering it was on floor 2 AFTER we had bought breakfast on the second day (our last day).
Everything seemed very clean, and the location was right where I needed it to be.

United StatesWhile I realize it is not the fault of the hotel, there was lots of construction in the area surrounding the hotel which made parking challenging if you wanted to self park, and noise from the construction began very early in the morning. There were issues with the included breakfast, as well as with the in room air conditioning, however the staff was very responsive and provided solutions that exceeded expectations.
Property was in close proximity to sport/special events centers. The room was clean and the indoor pool was clean with towels well stocked.

United StatesIf you didn’t want valet at $45 you could self park for $30 in parking Garage behind hotel. Paid $30 next day when leaving could not get out of garage without paying another $30. No One around to help. Air conditioner in room would not cool room consistently. So sleeping was kinda warm in the room. Had maintenance check it but didn’t get better.

United StatesI didn't like that the air conditioner goes on and off by a sensor. It would go off at night and become very warm in the room. Not having parking on site was a bit of an inconvenience but they do offer valet for $43 a night.
It is near lots of restaurants and bars. Walking distance to many. You need your room key to access the elevator, pool area, gym and Ice machine room. There's a small snack market which was nice.
