A little worse for wear in the room. I noticed the sheer curtain was torn, the tub didn't drain well.

Breakfast was great--lots of variety and the space was clean, well-organized.

The bathroom sink area was a little cramped, and the hot water cut out halfway through the shower. However, that seems to have been a temporary issue, as we mentioned it to the staff and they had just been informed by someone else and had called maintenance to work on it.

It was very clean and the staff was friendly. The beds and room were comfortable, and the location was convenient to everything.

Near train tracks - didn't bother us, but definitely could hear trains at night

Easy walk to Carleton College. Pleasant, helpful, responsive staff. Nice having coffee and tea available all hours in lobby.

Was expensive and there’s literally a train that runs by multiple times a day. My cousin Vinny nightmares.

Not much. The stair carpet is a little older, and I had to hunt a little for the ice machine. We bring our own pillows, but I think the hotel pillows could be better.

The breakfast was good and varied. Scrambled eggs and gravy one day, "fried" eggs and hollandaise the next. Milk, juice, cheeses sticks and more. The pool was a good temperature and a little bigger than some. The open stairs to the 2nd floor were a nice difference from other hotels. We also could open our room window and had a totally private view of trees.

The hotel is located on Hwy 3, so traffic can get quite noisy. I would request a room away from the highway next time.

Nothing much.

The breakfast had choices between cereal, waffles, eggs,sausages ,coffee so one had a choice to choose from. The location for us was great due to it's proximity to St Olaf college

Location is easy access to entire city. On major thruway but quiet! Friendly staff. Very clean, no chemical smells! Hot breakfast included scrambled egg patties, sausages, biscuits gravy & make your own waffles.

First and foremost beds are hard. Room felt old and outdated.

Liked the common areas. Pool was ok. Liked the fire pit but didn't use it because it seemed like an inconvenience to staff. Breakfast was ok. Things run low and not replenished before end of breakfast.

The breakfast was adequate but underwhelming, particularly for vegetarians.

Very good, clean, basic hotel within walking distance to both St. Olaf and Carleton colleges. The cost was reasonable and the hotel presents an affordable option for visiting families.

The cost for the hotel room is too high in my opinion. Breakfast was mediocre (eggs rubbery). I look forward to coffee every morning and was disappointed with the few options for creamers. Maybe throw in a little coffeemate...It's the little things :-)

The front desk staff was very friendly, and helped us find a good restaurant after we arrived (Menus at the desk). The king suite was very roomy. We were able to hang out and watch tv, visit comfortably. Even an ottoman to kick up our feet. Everything we needed and close to restaurants (We had an excellent fish plate at the quarterback club nearby).
