How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not much we didn't like.Need an upgrade on the coffee. Folgers not great.

1 night was loud, noisy, scary with issue in the room below us, but staff handled it quickly.
We stayed there last year and we continue to find it clean, convenient, friendly staff, helpful, and not far from my brother's, so I'm sure we will return!!

TV/remote/channel situation. We never knew what we were watching because there was no guide, the guide on the tv wasn’t accurate, and there were no names of shows on each channel.
The jacuzzi tub is the reason I continuously return! The staff is always kind and helpful.

The pool was closed which I felt should have been disclosed when booking the room.
Very clean and quiet, they had many options for breakfast which I haven't seen a lot since Covid, so that was a plus.

There is no elevator, and the pool was also drained when we went. When I pulled the sheets back there were short hairs all over the sheets that was under the fitted sheet. They appeared like they are not changed every time with the fitted and top sheet. I always check the beds for bed bugs.We were in 206 there was a really weird smell in there that caused me to have a hard time falling asleep.
It was really in a convenient spot of town. And most of the facilities appeared clean and somewhat updated. The front desk staff were extremely nice!

The tv could have been better. The tv cable doesn’t show the channel info so it just says channel number and no info so it hard to find anything.
The room was nice and staff was friendly. The distance to Louisville was lacking but the hotel itself is great!

The only problem that I had was that as soon as you walk in they have a sign that says, “this is a smoke free hotel”! Unfortunately, our neighbors in the room beside us smoked pot every night. We had to put a wet towel down to block the smell from getting into our room. It was obvious as soon as you walk into the hotel. But nothing was ever done.
Convenient to our venue. Priced reasonable. Clean and comfortable.

The room was terribly humid. Even with the A/C running the air felt very damp.

That the power outlets out front were not functioning, we needed those to recharge our boat. The shower faucet was tricky and difficult to turn on and off. The bathroom door handle was broken. Both faucet and handle should be replaced.
Loved the bed! Location to the boat ramp.

It is a "budget" type hotel. It was a descent hotel. Did have a small indoor pool. Breakfast was adequate. For the location and the price it was still good, though.
Had had a bad experience with a Quality Inn in another state. This one was much better. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had trouble with tv and we were moved to another room. Room was bigger too! Beds in that room were more comfortable also!

The room smelled like smoke even though we were told not vape or smoke. It messed with my sinuses and asthma . It was the only room available. The pool said it was 85 degrees however it was very cold.

There wasn’t a tv guide. The bed was not the most comfortable.
The jacuzzi tub in the room was fabulous. There was ample parking! The room was clean and the staff was super friendly!

The heater was set on 69 degrees and the room felt like 90 degrees. Hard to sleep when you’re sweating.
Breakfast could be better but most of the food is edible. More fresh foods like real eggs and sausage, not the processed stuff.
