Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe weee not able to sit outside because the neighbors were out with their barking dog so we missed the evening sunsets. Also, the staff moved the table on the backyard and didn’t move it back. We have shoulder issues so moving a heavy metal table was too hard for us.
Perfect setting. View of flatirons from backyard.

United StatesThe price is high. The menu in the dining hall has very few if any options for vegans. Could be healthier
Location and the cottage. The vent system in the room. The gardens on property. The beauty and the proximity of the Flat Irons and hiking trails

United StatesCelebrated our anniversary with friends. The staff provided a celebratory basket on check in and then we drove the couple blocks to our assigned cottage, a wonderful two bedroom with views of the Flatiron mountains and right on the hiking path. The whole place area is historic, yet the cottage was updated and comfortable inside. Highlights: the Liberty Puzzle Factory Tour, dinner at Bramble and Hare, a hike into the Flatirons, 30 minute walks to Pearl Street through cool neighborhoods, the friendly and helpful Ranger, and hours of putting together the fabulous Liberty puzzles at the kitchen table with our friends. Definitely want to come back.

United StatesThe only thing we saw as a negative was the sitting area furniture was not very comfortable and looked a little worn. We were planning to use the pull out couch for one of the members of our party but the mattress was thin and uncomfortable so he ended up sleeping on the couch of our daughter who we were in town visiting.
The cabin was clean with an adorable kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out front, drinking the provided coffee, and staring at the beautiful Flatirons.

United StatesChatauqua is the most peaceful, beautiful historic healing Resort in America as far as I’m concerned, thank you so much. The staff, especially Melanie, were incredibly helpful and kind to me. Being able to wake up, have tea on your patio and hike in the gorgeous mountains is a gift along with the flowers in the gardens. I definitely recommend the dining hall. The food is scrumptious !! And excellent it rained for a unique experience. I return multiple times a year. See you soon.!

United StatesI wish the shower would have had grab bars for my older aunt to feel safe enough to shower. The stove and oven can also not be used at the same time but we were told it was old so we made it work.
The location was phenomenal and exceeded all expectations! It was quiet, clean and lovely. The staff was helpful and responsive to our concerns. We loved the screened-in porch and cozy beds. We will definitely tell our friends about Chautauqua!

United StatesParking was sometimes a little tricky.
The location was absolutely perfect, and the cottage was adorable. When they say they're right by many hiking trails, they aren't exaggerating. The trail heads are all right there. The kitchen was the best stocked with equipment of any vacation property I've stayed at. We also enjoyed the restaurant on-site. Delicious food, beautiful views.

United StatesLocation is right at the foot of the Flatiron mountains. Incredible views and right at the trail head. It got a little crowded in the parking lot which causes a little traffic, but manageable. Interesting cottages, pleasant surprise. Close to downtown and many activities.
