Our room needed some update and/or replacements. The lampshade was taped, the wheeled chair needed to be replaced, and one leg on the sofa was turned (possibly loose?).

The hotel was undergoing a limited redesign, the new room design males use of a bed with a sheet metal base frame. This frame is very loud and annoying when you roll in or get up from the bed. Feels like you are sleeping in a tin.

I think we managed to get a renovated room which was relieving since I saw a lot of bad reviews of this place. Our room was clean where it mattered (my kids noticed the floor under the beds were a bit dirty) and all the towels and bedding were spotless (we thoroughly checked). However, the pull-out couch was broken. It leaned slightly down when sitting on it and the pull-out part wouldn’t pullout at all. Out of the two beds, mine squeaked a fair amount when I moved on it. We also didn’t have a parking spot in front of our room because of a very large dumpster parked across the 3 spots. So the view out of the window was of a dumpster. That wasn’t a deal breaker and obviously will be removed when done renovating but was a bit inconvenient. Overall it was as bad as some people have said and at least I still being renovated.

This was mostly near large shopping stores like Walmart. You could drive to some and downtown was only a few minutes of a drive. The staff were friendly.

Mattress in Rm. 174 near the window was very hard, as if the mattress had been overturned. It was like sleeping on the boxspring in stead of the mattress. Shower head wobbly and water pressure was very low. Bathtub did not look clean. No plug in the sink. But lots of towels and toiletries, working coffee maker, efficient staff person (Danielle) when we needed a TV remote replaced.

The service was very good. Staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good and nice, hot coffee.

The room had an odd smell to it, they bathroom needed some serious work. The shower wall was cracked. The shower curtain was too short. There was not a vent for the shower. There was a bottle opener screwed into the door frame, the outlet had some scorch marks and the shower water was way to dangerously hot. Also, the wind was so bad that night it blew the door wide open early morning even with the latch on.

It was a really cold night so the heat came on pretty often. On the plus side, it was warm. On the down side, it was really loud.

I was pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. The facilities were in great shape, perhaps recently remodeled. The bed was very comfortable.

We seem to always stay in the 150's rooms in the single story section of the hotel. Those motel style rooms are getting very dated and really need some TLC. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, lumpy, and old. BYOP! That part of the hotel also houses some permanent residents. The daylight bright white LED lamps they installed outside are not flattering at all and make the property look like a housing complex at night.

The staff is always pleasant. We come here every year. Check-in is a breeze. The new breakfast room is a huge improvement and the breakfast was hot. Despite being dated, the property was clean with a very active cleaning staff. If you need any last-minute supplies, there is a grocery store right next to the hotel, with a walking path directly from the hotel (towards the back). There is one free Level 2 EV charger that works well.

Not a great location and there was a lot of noise from the office next door to our room from very early in the morning. And the heating system was very noisy so it was very difficult to sleep

The breakfast didn't include everything they listed as "staples" for every breakfast. The floors seemed to be remodeled recently, but poorly done. I kept snagging my sock on panels that were not laid correctly.
