Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe staff for some reason refused to give us more than 3 towels even though we had 4 people. Also there was an issue with one staff telling us the pool was open til 11 so we planned our day around swimming at 10 with our kids (which we promised them). Got to the pool about to get in and was told they were about to lock up. Told them the situation and they hesitantly agreed to let us swim til 11. It was resolved but still, the whole staff should be educated on the times correctly. Also, checkout was at 11. Housekeeping cart was parked RIGHT outside our room at about 10:40. We were gathering everything and getting the kids ready. I went out to put some things up and immediately was asked if I was done. When I said no, they continued to wait right outside until we left right at 11. Not a great experience with the staff.

United StatesToilet would not flush. I felt so bad.. but still. If you wann go to a show in austin on a bargain. Start right here. Staff so friendly, whataburger down the block for breakfast. Pinthouse round the corner. What a bargain.
Excellent location downtown easy access to food n shows. Felt safe. Got easy ubers. Went to see plini and tosin abasi animals as leaders at emos. Id do it again. Im an old man, got good service, close to show. Pinthouse beer n pizza round the corner. Hell yeah. Whens the next show. Im back to motel six south.

United StatesMy toilet stopped up twice during a 5-day stay and I asked to be moved and was told that I'd have to pay a $30 early check in fee. And housekeeping didn't come one single day. I had to hunt down towels, trash bags, sheets, and even toilet paper daily.
They only charge a $50 REFUNDABLE deposit for your animals. If there's no pet damage, it's refunded.
