There was no table or any chairs in our room for 4 of us. We had to call and ask the employee on call to bring us a table and chairs, ice and a microwave. He showed up right away and got us everything we requested. He very kindly suggested we get the suite next time, since they were the only rooms with a table.

We liked the proximity to the Restaurant we chose to celebrate my Sister beating 2 cancers in 1 year.

This is an older motel . It was clean and fairly comfortable. It was difficult to get in touch with the staff prior to our arrival.

We arrived after hours and the check in was a bit clunky.

The room was large, well appointed, and had a nice wood panel finish to it. There is a pizza restaurant directly opposite it and it's only a 6 min drive to the township of Julian

We noticed some towels and linen with stains and tried to work around it.

Location is in a great area that is really close to many restaraunts and shops. About 6 mins away from the heart of Julian. We brought our dogs and the room was very spacious for four. There is a spacious yard area in the back of the Inn where you can lounge with your dogs on leash. Heater and warm blankets were nice for the snowy weather we got the days we visited. Overall would recommend for a friendly dog spot.

My only feedback would be that noise from the room downstairs was very easy to hear, including screaming and running children early in the morning. Perhaps a soundproof padding could be installed under the carpet.

The room was very clean and the suite was large and spacious! The fireplace was a nice perk and they provided 2 Duraflame logs which was considerate. The room was very clean and had a nice view. Full kitchen facilities and fridge with freezer. Plenty of parking and close drive to "downtown" Julian. Some local restaurants and shops across the street and next door. Peaceful sitting area in the back.

The shower could have been cleaner and I had to ask for a second roll of toilet paper. No big deal. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

My mom and I stayed at Apple Tree Inn with our 3 dogs to escape the New Year's fireworks in San Diego. It was the perfect low key getaway.

We need a safety bar in the bathtub/shower. There are no paper towels, and there are no extra trash bags, but I guess you can ask for them.

The bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean and big enough to move around in. The sink looked like a washtub (design) but was functional. The shower worked but wouldn't shut off for a tub bath. I liked the mini frig even though it froze the food. I loved the Keurig coffee machine. I liked the furniture and the TV was great! It was rustic but was great for us because we brought our little dog. There are great restaurants next door and across the street.

The bathroom was small. There was no room to place toiletries, and the plug for my curler was opposite the mirror with nowhere to place my curler.

The pool was out of order. The internet took several days to wotk again. My son had to pay for wifi hotspot through our services.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Although it took me a little while to get someones attention. We usually come here about once a year and look forward to it. Its very quiet and close to town. My room did not get cold at first. When i got ahold of them, they were right on it, and checked up on me. I asked for a microwave and got one within minutes.

No staff on site. Charged per fee they state for extra cleaning. However the floor was filthy! If I pay extra for my dog, I expect a clean room for our stay

No pool and chairs were shot

Room: Floor was very dusty. We could not walk around in our bare feet. The staff mopped it on the second day but by two days later it was dusty again. Chairs need to be replaced or re-upholstered. To sit on them you could feel the wood frame about the legs.

The bathtub area could use some TLC - the pool area looks pretty shabby, hopefully will be brought back to "summertime fun" standards??

We tried to follow the directions that were given to us to open the combination lock box on the wall for 10 minutes without success. Called the help number and got voicemail. No one was on site to help. Finally saw another guest who told us that the lock box didn’t work on our door and that the actually door knob lit up when touched so you could input in the combination. A few minutes later we had to tell another couple how to get into their room, too. No hair dryer, no microwave in room. The pool area is cordoned off-no swimming as the concrete was broken up to remodel the pool. For $500 for 2 nights (including a $47.50 pet fee for cleaning-the actual floor in the room was filthy dirty not having been mopped for a long time and stained my socks-we have a small 5 pound dog), it was way overpriced! We’ve stayed here before but we’re disappointed this time.

We only stayed for one night, and it was raining and foggy, so we did not have a chance to explore the surroundings fully. We did like the area, and Rhonda, the bartender at the pizza place across the highway, was awesome.
