The room is a bit outdated and the beach furniture was weathered. The air conditioning is not well-placed since it hits you directly when sleeping.

The greatest asset is the view! The balcony overlooks the lake and it was beautiful. Also, the size of the hotel is quaint and from a past era...friendly and accessible. The hotel's location is perfect to access all kinds of restaurants and locations.

Great location right on the beach with beach access and chairs. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Was quite disappointed that there was no microwave, small coffee maker or hairdryer in the room at the rate we paid. There was no privacy between the balconies, our neighbors could literally stand on the edge of their railing and look right into our room - there needs to be a wall/privacy screen between rooms. One other disappointment was that everyone staying on the ground level overtook all the fire rings and seating each night. And be very aware, someone threw a broken beer bottle in a firepit and then we witnessed someone's child throw it out into the lake, not cool at all!

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION!! Loved being beachside right on Lake Michigan, so pretty. Very quiet, room was clean and bed was very comfortable!

Lake didn't smell good they sprayed the room with some kind of oder blocker.

Location was incredible,no breakfast and the area smelled fishy moreso than many other places on the lake for some reason.

Lake flies had just hatched this weekend so keep your lights off when entering. More of just a nuisance than harmful to you!

Nice and close to small beach can here the waves when you have windows open and see beautiful sunsets and the harbor channel red lighthouse

I suppose it’s the end of the year and I was apparently the only guest but, the motel was dirty, no attendant seemed to be on duty and although I had maid service sign out all day Sunday, no one showed up. Had to go get wash cloth on my own and reuse one bath towel. Under the circumstances the $90+ rate per night was high.

It’s conveniently located and priced reasonably.

The faucet to convert the flow of water from tub to the shower did not stay on as the pin you pull up on wouldnt stay up. We were forced to somewhat bath instead n didnt take showers the next day. Before we booked, we wanted a different room but the booking said only 2 other rooms were available. There was no other cars there during our stay so they must only rent out what they want to. Which is fine but not when the facilities don't work as expected.

The location is great. The rooms are dated and need updated bed covers but beds were comfortable.

Old. Needs to be updated. People next to us were smoking weed and could smell it. This was not a super cheap place either. For $160 with taxes, this was a ripoff but we were paying for the beach part. I still expected a bit better on the room itself.

This was really the only option in this area and while it’s on the water on a nice beach, it’s really low budget living.

Mattress sucked, but then I have a bad back, for others it might be ok There were gale force winds and the soffit and gutters banged all night the 2nd night we were there as the wind picked up. They should probably look into securing them more. Step up into the room was a bit high for those of us that aren't tall or for my mother who is older.

Closeness to the Lake. Side by side rooms, views where awesome. Nice lobby and 24/7 coffee and juice. Quiet and very clean rooms. Loved that we had a frig in our room and that we could park right outside our room door.

Being awakened out of a deep sleep at 3 am. and once again at 5 am. due to a loud noise of some type of mechanical failure inside the room from the wall furnace. Also it would be nice to offer a fluffy pillow on the bed. A stiff neck is not how I want to start the day. Otherwise everything else was fine. We will be mindful of this in the future.

Being next to the water certainly is a plus. The morning sunrise is beautiful. Also the motel is close by when visiting relatives in the area.

Attention to room detail....balcony door was very hard to open and close. Toilet seat was loose. Shower was difficult to operate.

Location was great. Several things need attention in the room. Pastries etc for breakfast are put out at 8am which seems late.

We’ve stayed here in 2023. The facility was not as clean this year. The outdoor furniture (by the water) is in very poor condition. No continental breakfast is provided as was in the past. Received a very odd call from the manager prior to checking out inquiring if I left a bad review (at which time I had not).
