The pool area was small which I think is pretty par for the course around there. Also most restaurants seem to be a drive versus a walk, but overall was a great experience

Location to the beach was great and the room was clean and modern and comfortable. Driving to historic Venice was less than 10-12 minutes.Found a great irish bar there

Although renovations were done, you could tell there was a lot of moisture in the apartment, warped wood etc. Overall, apartment was great, just older.

Loved that the location was right on the beach! Beautiful, private. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Fonda, in the office, was very sweet. If you’re looking for a quiet, more private get away, this is the place.

This time, the only regret was that the wifi system was down. But we were able to manage.

We have been coming to this place for about 3 + years on a road because from the beginning we simply loved it ❤️. Beach, location, rooms, service.

The only issue we had was that our door lock was a little sticky as some smaller repairs are still in progress. This wasn't really anything serious, but a few small glitches should be expected as the island recovers from disaster.

First of all, this place is directly on the beach. You can walk out your door, and within steps, you are on the beach. You can sit in the courtyard and see the surf. This was our second time staying, and we'll definitely be back for another stay. Keep in mind that the whole island was hit hard by Hurricane Milton in 2024. Many things are still in the process of recovery, but a lot has already been done. All the units have been completely remodeled and have a new feel. Much of the foliage has been wiped out and in the process of growing back, but this was no problem for us. If you're looking for a great time on the beach in a comfortable room with a great view and friendly staff, you won't be disappointed.

A shower wand would be excellent

My only complaint was the bathroom situation in unit 43. I'm 8 months pregnant. The bathroom door opens into the wall the holds the shower. When you open the shower door it opens into the corner where the door it. There's zero room to get in without pinning yourself into a corner. Even my 5 and 9 year Olds had trouble getting in the shower without squishing themselves into the corner so imagine being 8 months pregnant. The door would push against my hips and pin me against the bathroom door every time I tried to get a shower. Which is not only unsafe but kinda gross. Whomever install the shower door had no logical thinking at the time. My husband had issues getting in as well. Easy fix is change the direction the door to the shower opens or do a curtain instead of door. If this wasn't a issue I'd have given our stay a 10.

The location was perfect. Beach just steps away, bay behind us, jetty less than 2 mins down the road, parks for the kids to play at very close. Room was clean and comfy. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Pool was heated, grills available.

It was our first time there, and it was such an incredible experience for us both. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and the scenery was just breathtaking. We will definitely be going back here again.
