We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

UgandaThey gave me a different price on arrival different from what was advertised on booking.com. The receptionist was very rude, and the facility didn't have electricity. Plus, the room was very dusty, and the towels were dirty. The shower is not working. I was very frustrated 😠.

United KingdomThings missing or didn’t work. Mosquito net, tv, Wi-Fi, light in stair well, chef. Welcome card read like the riot act. Must have a problem with prostitution. Dry toast for breakfast and to top it off receptionist didn’t give me my balance.
The staff very friendly and even fixed my puncture.

The rooms are very nicely decorated and the accommodation is clean and maintained to a high standard. The compound and dining area are well presented and the food is also great:)

I loved the breakfast, the hospitality of the staff. The hotel was clean. Though out of town, the navigation to the place was okay. The staff were respectful and supportive.

United KingdomI didn't like that the only payment method was cash in this cashless society the world is moving to. Not many people carry cash anymore. A card machine would be helpful especially if your not from USD currency countries. The chef needs to improve the menu and orders. Sausage were served to our muslim driver who was very upset thinking it was pork. All our orders for breakfast were wrong both days. WiFi was not available on arrival we had to ask several times to get connected. We were given rooms on the third floor with no lift. This is difficult for elderly guests climbing stairs.
I liked that it was clean and neat. And parking was available plus the WiFi was good though we had to ask for it several times before we were connected.

Really kind & welcoming staff, their breakfast is made to order and I totally found the place to offer incredible value, so you definitely get a lot of bang for your buck staying at Red Sox Hotel, highly recommend it!

UgandaMost of the facilities you talk about are malfunctional. E.g TV doesn't work, no Internet . The other thing is there are many mosquitoes and the nets have holes I never liked bargaining for the room prices afresh yet I had already booked a room with a price. So coming to check in and then the receptionist tells me different and higher prices was really a big disappointment. Let the prices online be the same with those on the reception

United KingdomThe breakfast needs to be improved with many varieties. My booking included English breakfast but this was not provided at the hotel. Bread and omelettes were provided on most days but we get tired of this and we requested for yam and sweet potatoes with omelette and these were provided at our request. Breakfast was always served with plenty of fruits and tea and coffee. We had fish dinner on one of our stay and it was delicious. The kitchen staff, Sofia was helpful and friendly.
The staff were excellent. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most and because of them I will book the hotel again anytime I go to Uganda. The hotel was clean and the location was good. The rooms were excellent and clean. The beds were comfortable and beddings were clean. All my request for the rooms were met except the absence of air conditioner even though it was listed as part of the room facilities when I booked. In any case, there was fan in the rooms and the fans work effectively. I will book the hotel again next time I am in Uganda.
