Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room we had originally booked (executive suite) was not available, so we were moved to a different room. I had thought we would get a discount for not getting the room originally booked, but they said that since we booked through Booking.com and not directly through them, it was not possible. The difference was only $5 so I didn't make a big deal of it. The door to the room opened up right to the parking lot. This made it feel less private and a bit noisy. I wouldn't have minded if the door had a second lock given its proximity to the parking lot and the street.
The breakfast was amazing - very large and customizable. It was free with the stay, but we might even return just for breakfast without staying because it was such good value. We liked our room. It was very large with a big bed. It had a private patio, which was nice. Bathroom was a bit dated, but shower was hot with good water pressure.

GermanyThey offer a generous breakfast selection, yet very unflexible. I asked for chapati instead of bread with the egg, leaving out all other items. Still they had to charge extra for that. Seems petty. Towels in the Sauna are a bit too little, you wouldn't want to use the cushions on their seats with those...
A scenic location with good restaurants and shops nearby (own restaurant good as well). Sauna nice hot and dry. If you have a lot to do in the city-centre, Muyenga is impractical because traffic to that side is a grinder.

In a way, the pictures of the room are better than what they actually are as the view isn‘t that great from most rooms. Staff was excellent, nice breakfast, great spa. Highly recommend the Moroccan bath.

United KingdomThe area of Muyenga Tank Hill is very safe to walk, a lot of green, and lovely people. With swimming pools, quiz nights, and a bustling Muyenga Rd around, it falls nothing short of the perfect location for your stay in Kampala. The staff at Kampala Forest Resort is attentive, very helpful and makes you feel so welcomed.

GermanyThe bar is playing quite loud music up to midnight. If you want to go to sleep early, bring ear plugs. The shower didn't have warm water on the days when I was there, but maybe that was a temporary issue.
Very nice location on top of a hill with big trees and a nice view on the lake. Nice place away from polluted air and the noise from the city centre. The room was not very spacious, but big enough for me. I liked the food offered in the restaurant.
