The only negative was that the hot water in the shower was not consistent and had waves of temperature drops and then recovery. Would not put me off the stay and the management indicated they would look into it.

The rooms were very well kept and clean. The friendly staff were attentive and you did not want for anything. A great menu with various options. A really pleasurable stay.

Health spa washrooms need some work. Kettle in pent house was quite aged. Door knobs as well need some work. Otherwise great stay this was.

Really good facilities. The health club washrooms could do with a bit of renovation. Rooms were very spacious and the balconies are generous. The pool is huge. The staff made the stay exceptional. From Patrick at the concierge to the ladies at reception on 26th and 27th May to Christian who helped our big group with breakfast and all the way to the life guards at the swimming pool. The staff made the stay worthwhile indeed.

The hotel itself is a little bit run-down here and there.. some furniture in my suite also.. All prices are in USD which makes it (too) pricey for non-US guests at the current exchange rates.

Excellent gym and highly service-oriented staff. They gave me a suite instead of a normal room which I had booked. I thought that was very kind of them.

Old cupboards in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Cockroaches and all geckos creeping around. I have a toddler and an infant always playing on the floor so was not great. Breakfast buffet was not great. You could hardly get local food. There were more Indian food than local. I got bored for the 5 days. I skipped most breakfast and had to order food most times from local restaurants with my partner.

1. Our truly stunning pent house was located above the kitchen so kitchen (garlic especially) smells seeped into the apartment throughout the day. Leaving the front door open meant gusts of wind would push the smell through the door into the suit. 2. The music played at the restaurant/pool area is good. However please turn it down just a little so guests can have quiet conversations, especially in the mornings, without having to raise their voices above the music.

Our 3-bed pent house overlooked the pool and palmy garden area. The upstairs bedrooms had a fantastic view of the city spread over Kampala’s many hills. We loved everything. Facilities, ambience, food, service. Safe. Great location. Spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Mohammad the Ugandan waiter at the restaurant was super attentive to us. Thank you to Muhammad. We had massages and nails done by the Eric and his friendly staff at the salon. Thanks Sammy, Liz and Robin.

The reception staff when i checked in at 5:00am and even though i had paid for the night informed me that the room i booked was not available, that was not a fun conversation, although at the end he did agree to upgrade me for two nights but no one wants to have this conversation at 5am after a 10 hour flight.

The location is pretty great, it has one of the biggest and best gyms, and the rooms are spacious and comfy beds. The staff overall is pretty good and always helpful Its my second time here and it was pretty good

A few more smaller lights in the room would’ve been nice. There is a reading light by the bed, but other than that only either very bright lights or nothing for illumination. Also bedroom TV did not have a remote.
