Great place in beautiful Jinja. There is nothing to complain, as it is a place madeup by an engagging team. Everything is made with love and engagement, that’s the way to instantly feel home. They organize activities on they’re own or with trustfull third-parties.

The only small thing I would have liked to see improved is the wine selection. I would have loved a few more options to pair with the delicious meals.

I absolutely loved everything about this place! The owner and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, the beds were super comfortable, and the food was simply delicious 😋 . The evenings at the bar were such a great vibe we had so much fun!

Wonderful place to stay when you’re in Jinja! Extremely safe as it’s behind a gate with 24 hour security. The food is excellent and the bathrooms are very clean! The staff especially David, James and Nash will do everything to help you make your time in Jinja the best it came be! Awesome dogs!

I can't think of anything.

What made this place great was the staff. They were so friendly. They made me feel safe and welcome and they put on fun and warm social gatherings. I was there over NYE and they put on a BBQ and then we all went to a nearby bar and they looked after us. It was great. The hostel itself is beautiful and a pleasure to be in. I was in one of the tents and it was such a place of zen.

Only a small thing: the matresses in the dormitory are too soft for me

The place is very beautiful, like in the pictures. The garden is huge and perfect to chill. There is a fire place, which makes it very cozy. The people working there is very friendly and kind. Nash is a great host! The breakfast is amazing and they also serve dinner for a good price, which was also super tasty. 100%recommended

The dorm had thin walls, and you could hear people talking around you all day long. Also the opening and closing of washroom doors added to this.

We had no complaints!

It’s a beautiful, peaceful property with good facilities, good food and friendly staff. The mosquito net covered the whole bed and there was a fan and we had hot water with good pressure. I appreciated James’ coffees, and especially his caffe latte-to-go for me to enjoy upon our arrival in Kenya after the long night bus. And the cats, Irene and Dan 😻 Thank you!

The property definitely has a nice unique touch to it with regards to how it’s set up. It feels like home. Everyone is so welcoming. Right from the David at the gate, to the receptionist, to the entire staff. Very accommodating, very helpful. I went as a solo traveler but I felt so at ease at those property. Highly recommend.

Good atmosphere among travellers,, super friendly and caring staff and all the facilities you want. They have the best shower I had since 2,5 months in Africa! Also nice that you can book tours through them and they can do your laudry, all for a reasonable price. Breakfast is great, dinner too (but a bit pricy). Location is okay, and the staff always helps you to get a boda and make sure you're safe going out and coming back.

Lovely location not too close to the hustle and bustle of the centre. In a nice area with plenty of places to eat nearby if you want to eat out. We ate in the 3 nights we stayed as the food was very good. We stayed in a dome which was very comfortable and full of character. The people who work there are great. A big thank you to James who is a credit to the place and also an excellent city tour guide . Highly recommend Jinja Backpackers

Didn't know how long it took for the hot water switch to kick in. On average, the cold showers were good to start the day. Small insects here and there in the bed, but eventually I slept 😴.

The room was spacious.
