We had a room on the groundfloor, right near the restaurant. It was very noisy, as we could basically hear everybody talking. There are no mosquito nets, so the bathroom (especially) was full of mosquitos. The ceiling definitely needs repainting. The bed was very large, but it almost fell with us on one side. It took almost 2 hours to bring us fish and chips. And they wanted to cheat us, to pay 20 dolares for a 5 minute drive to the airport.

It has a large, green yard. The staff is helpful.

There was no water in the night, but that was a general a struggle in the area the day we arrived.

The staff was very friendly, good breakfast, quiet location near the airport away from the hustle and bustle of Kampala.

Food services could be improved. Property lacked a chilling facility for cold drinks. Couldn’t use the outdoor seating areas very much due to the lake flies.

Large and comfortable bed, clean and spacious bathroom, food available on request. Proximity to the airport. Helpful staff. Beautiful and peaceful gardens. Close to the beach.

Breakfast lacked African variety The credit card machine was unavailable on my 2 bookings between November and December and I had to go into town to get cash. One of the times I was departing at 5.30 am.

Really welcoming and very accommodating staff. The location is ideal because it is so close to Entebbe airport and great for those late night arrivals or early departures.

I had booked a double room @$30USD but was given and charged for a larger room. I didn't realise until after I'd left.

Pick up from airport (more expensive than a local taxi but given the time I arrived, worth the extra cost) and great breakfast, appreciated the French press coffee.

We wanted somewhere close to the airport, where we could get a hot shower, and a few hours sleep before an early morning flight. We had everything we needed at Cycad. We arrived later than the anticipated time and were meet warmly by Salem. He also helped arrange a driver and gave us a wake up call to ensure we did not miss our flight.

The only thing I would suggest is perhaps having some bottled water available for purchase or letting guests know where to find some nearby......

The hosts were wonderful - I didn't need much but if I had have needed ANYthing I know they would have been so helpful. The room was so peaceful, hot water on demand, very comfortable beds and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was wonderful!
